I had the same thought, but after researching it seems the real world mpg in the FX4 ranger is significantly less than the Mav’s quoted 20/24. I don’t think there is any hope of eking out 26 mpg in a Ranger FX4.

Yeah. Tough to give up that best in class off road ability. Everything else is less capable, it’s just a question of how much is enough.

I’m aware it’s early and anecdotal information, but if people are eking out 22 mpg or less on the highway, I’d rather know now and make a more informed decision.

Can some of the new Tremor owners comment on their real world fuel economy for us? Highway mpg is more important for me, and I’m trying to determine if I need to change back to an FX4 4k tow. Wasn’t expecting to see that 24 mpg estimate on the Tremor from Ford. Thanks!

I know it has a different rear diff, different front chin, lift, and bigger tires, but none of those seemed THAT drastic. I think I’ll stick with it, 24 is a lot better than my 4Runner’s 16, but I was thinking 26-27 when I ordered.

I was hoping that was bad intel. 24 hwy is way worse than I was thinking it would be.

I’ve only seen digital versions, not a legit one on a vehicle.

Did your window sticker show the mpg ratings? I’m curious how my tremor will do on the highway when it gets here.
