Agree. Biggest reason for me to get the Mav is the hybrid powertrain. Still need good ground clearance, though. Otherwise, why not get a Ranger of Colorado in 2023? Their mpg will be close to the ecoboost.

Think the Tremor package solves it? Or, Tremor plus some 245’s?

For skid plates that means either FX4 or Tremor, right? Someone has probably done a bottom side comparison, but I hadn’t searched for that yet. Good news is the road I take is primarily sand/clay, more than gravel, but still worth considering.

Do you mean because the two front wheels are more likely to slip and sling rocks, or because the underside of the Hybrid is more vulnerable somehow?

I’m a big fan of a good set of AT tires. Have considered getting an XT, then ditching the steelies and getting lighter alloys to offset some heavy 245 KO2’s. Maybe a leveling kit to get another inch if I have issues.

As soon as the order banks are open, my dealer is putting in my order. Looking to go XLT, Lux, I think… although if I could get cruise control and body colored mirrors, I’d save some coin and go XL. I guess the other stuff is good, too, tho.
