That looks like a SIBL and the rubber mat from Ford? Does the devider scrape the rubber mat? Is that why its hard to move? Does the bottom of the devider touch the mat? Thanks. That looks great.
Sometimes it's just not worth it to get it repaired. Unless you get lucky and get a real perfectionist who takes pride in their work. Unfortunately, it will never look as good as when it left the factory. Furthermore, you may get the truck back with other incidental damage, scratches, scuffs...
Yeah, the Ford Accessories website is full of tech issues when trying to place orders. I think I also lost my points and 20%. I guess i will try to call them or go to the dealer.
Does anyone here have pending orders from Ford Accessories that are on backorder?
I ordered the roll -up bed hardcover, bed rubber mat, tailgate spoiler, and door sills. I guess they are all on backorder. I've been waiting for many weeks. No updates or communication from Ford Accessories. I...
If you look/inspect the rest of the truck you will find more waves and imperfections everywhere. Yes, around the door handles, but also at the bottom of the doors, bottom of tailgate, around the door windows, hood, the roof has identical waves/dents on each side, the top of the bed rail that...
I am sorry to hear that they did a subpar job on your SIBL. I opted for the factory SIBL due to the risk of having it done afterwards. Some people just don't take pride in their work.
I agree. It is not a small truck. My new Maverick is longer and as wide as my Jeep Wrangler unlimited 4 door with 35 inch tires with front and rear steel bumpers. Length wise, the Maverick barely fits in my standard garage. I park my cars in the garage so the Maverick is the only truck that...
Thanks for offering to help. I really appreciate it. Yeah, if you can send me those instructions. I wish I could make the drive but I just started the school year and very busy, I teach high school. Anyways, I've been following your builds and I always appreciate a lowered mini truck with nice...
Very nice. One of the biggest reasons I ordered a Lariat was for the B&O system. I didn't want to worry about upgrading my sound system. If I had your skills, I would also do what you did.
Sorry that it is blue rather than the black you expected. Unfortunately, you will also find out how cheap that blue plastic interior is. You cannot touch it without scratching/scuffing it. You just have to accept that it will show wear and tear very easily.
Yes, I believe that Jeep started using aluminum in 2018/2019. I have a 2015 Wrangler and it doesn't have aluminum. The corrosion was pretty bad around the door hinges and the only way to fix was to repaint.
