I think they look good. If the Maverick is lifted, even better. One big reason I like running boards on trucks/Jeeps is that they protect against door dings.
I also have an Alto Blue Eco and have the chrome letters but haven't installed yet. I am wondering if I should go with orange instead and just make it my accent color. I bet it looks even better in person.
I like these but afraid that you only get one shot at getting the letters straight and even. I have OCD so not a fan of mods that use adhesives. Looks great tho.
Its kind of like what happens to leather called fatty spue. A white mold substance. Has to do with moisture/temperature and how the plastic was manufactured and stored before installed on the truck. That white subtance seeps through the plastic.
I bought this but haven't used it yet. Can you use this on a brand new maverick? Or just to restore faded plastic? I just received my truck and has less than 50 miles. It seems like a pain to apply and don't want permanent spots, streaks, etc. Thanks.
Thats a great point. Eventually, the paint will fade a bit and there will be a noticeable line. I was also thinking of just polishing and waxing regularly with good quality products and avoiding the highways/freeways as much as possible.
I also have a lifted Jeep Wrangler with 35s and have...
The funny thing is that the trucks come with protective plastic that covers the door sills and the bottom of the door panels and other interior parts from the factory. The dealership removes the plastic at the time of delivery to inspect the truck. I've seen them in person and the plastic they...
I agree. Bumpers and anything that is fiberglass will not match the rest of the car/truck 100 percent. I bought a new white jeep wrangler and the top, fiberglass, does not match the rest of the jeep. Its the same white paint but it doesn't match. It bothered me for a while but got over it.
I...
I just received mine yesterday. I'm assuming it does not have the logo as well but haven't opened the box yet. But I am happy that the new versions do not have the felt underneath. That would drive me nuts, hate dealing with adhesives. Thanks for sharing.
I never understood the idea of covering your car seats on a new vehicle. Especially if the seats are a nice fabric or leather. What are you saving them for? The next owner? I say enjoy them, life is short. Seat covers are more ideal for those who use their truck for work or to cover older...
