ok, i knew i had seen the local shop installing a film on the outside. it was a hydrophobic, protective window film. supposed to help with keeping frost off also, but can be "gently" scraped with a plastic scraper in winter. not sure how gentle scraping ice is though !
i bought a new, left over 24 tremor in june. didn't care what the dealership looked like. actually told friends it was probably one of the easiest buy/trade in deals i ever had. so much information online to research before walking in, and an offer from an online place. it was pretty painless.
took the hood stickers off when they put ppf on it. the rocker stickers are coming off on both sides, going to take those off also.
when i was looking at tremors over the summer, one dealership had a used 23. most of the stickers were in various stages of coming off. from being pressure...

true, but i'm an old dude, still keep track of all of it in a log book. coming from wranglers, where the tire size differences can be massive, i was curious if it is possible to change tire size, like the wranglers ?
i'm curious if the dash mpg thingy is programmed for one size of tire across all mavericks sold, or they actually input the different size tires, for different models. or if it's changeable when i put bigger tires on it ?
i'm not sure why ceramic has such a stigma around it, maybe because there has been some misleading advertising about super long life, and people believe they have to do nothing to it ?
ceramic works well, very, very well. this from a guy who paste waxed cars with my father in the late 70's...
nearing two months and getting more comfortable with the Tremor. an inexpensive cover for the cement hard console has been my most enjoyed add on so far lol
