Sounds just like the "glass etching" that many dealerships do. Easy mark-up and they typically add it to the vehicle without you being asked. Five minutes worth of work, your windows all etched and the number written on a sheet to log it; and cha-ching, and easy $100 or whatever they charge...
I still have to ask WTF was Ford thinking with that new front end?
The grilles don't look bad, but that headlamp/bumper cover design is horrible. Again, let me say they should have used the current F150 as inspiration; think horizontal turn signals splitting two LED lamps, and twin horizontal...
I can definitely say I am seeing more of them on the road, and at least one other one a day. It's a big change from not seeing one at all for several days when I bought mine just over a year ago.
Hopefully the Maverick doesn't go the way of every other truck, more features, more trims levels...
Looks like you're enjoying some nice weather, and I hope it holds out.
I had hoped to make it this year, but finances and health matters dictate otherwise.
Can't wait to see more photos!
It's about time, but not with that front end! They could have done soooo much better.
I also wonder if the 4K package could be getting added? It seems like it would be a real stretch, but maybe they'll still have managed to bump up over the current 2K limit. Time will tell.
That impressive! I was hoping to make it this year, but issues beyond my control dictate otherwise. I'm just glad to see the numbers increase that much this year and hope it continues for some time.
Be patient, it will get there when it gets there. Mine went back and forth on rail between a couple states, then came to town and rolled back south for a few days before its return and delivery.
While that's much better than the last postings, they could have done better by using the headlamp design of the new F150 as an influential starting point.
It's a sad trend in automotive design where updates often look like: "Well, we had to do something to let the neighbors know you didn't...
Oh, but despite this having been said over and over again we can't go to a web browser or Youtube without seeing claims of how this fictional Toyota vehicle(or Subaru, Chevy, and one or two other photo-shopped vehicles) is better than the Maverick, or going to destroy Ford's market share...
That's a great point being made. Yes, plans can cost your quite a bit of money, but the failure of one component can easily make that a money saving investment.
I've had techs in the shop state that they bought plans simply because while they can diagnose and repair their own vehicles, the...
Last I looked, it's the 20th of May, not April 1st.
That said, they'd have scored major points and dozens of new orders had they chosen to style it like the new F150. Imagine thin turn signals splitting two LED lamps, two thin bars separating the lamps above and below the signal and continuing...
Yeah, buying a Toyota, that will fix the problem....
I've worked at a Toyota dealership on two occasions, and I was surprised how much their quality had slipped. I thought they were in competition with Ford for recalls and TSBs to fix problems.
A coworker bought a new Rav4 when this generation...
I understand the reasoning people have for not doing some of them, as glitches can arise with software updates that are more problematic than the issue the recall is to address, but when it comes down to serious safety recalls like those on the brake hoses on the Fusions and Edges/wiper arms &...
I've seen the image of the finished product(coding) and can say that it looks great. Impressive that it was able to be figured out. 24AtlasMaverick has to post a photo of the lights working as intended, it's great with the BAP lamps on the Atlas Blue.
Nice looking truck. I'm tapped out too, no more mods for me.
I like you didn't follow the trend and went with chrome wheels, lends a bit of pop vs. black or bronze wheels.
It's sad. People used to be more like that here, too. Neighbors used to come out to help each other, often in droves. It still sometimes happens, just not like it used to.
Several years back I stopped to help to help an elderly couple suck on the side of the road in just a couple inches of...
