Sounds just like the "glass etching" that many dealerships do. Easy mark-up and they typically add it to the vehicle without you being asked. Five minutes worth of work, your windows all etched and the number written on a sheet to log it; and cha-ching, and easy $100 or whatever they charge...

I can definitely say I am seeing more of them on the road, and at least one other one a day. It's a big change from not seeing one at all for several days when I bought mine just over a year ago. Hopefully the Maverick doesn't go the way of every other truck, more features, more trims levels...

It's about time, but not with that front end! They could have done soooo much better. I also wonder if the 4K package could be getting added? It seems like it would be a real stretch, but maybe they'll still have managed to bump up over the current 2K limit. Time will tell.
