The longest wait is over. Salesman sent me a picture yesterday afternoon with the caption "See what just arrived!!!"
Hopefully picking up the truck this afternoon.
I'm also assuming that the Maverick hybrid will be similar to our Cmax hybrid...electric a/c compressor and engine coolant heater. Our plug in hybrid Cmax had an electric element in the heater to provide heat if the car was in EV mode.
Never have had any trouble with the cap-less filler in the C-max, although the 2015 just has a door to open from outside, while the 2016 had a button inside to open the door. Didn't understand why it would take 5-8 seconds before the door would open until I read the Maverick owner's manual...
Someone had their Alto Blue XLT hybrid at the Topsham Mall yesterday afternoon...still has the temporary plate on the back, and a Darlings plate on the front. :cool:
So I've been using a micro usb drive to play music on my C-max. I've got it plugged into the usb jack inside the center console...out of sight...out of mind. If I want to do the same in the Maverick are there just 2 usb ports...one on the dash and one on the back of the center console...none...
It can be quick...mine was "in production " on schedule 3/28, built on 3/29, shipped on 3/31...hopefully it's riding the rails to the northeast. Estimated delivery the last week of April.

Received an email from Ford last Tuesday evening that my Maverick had been built and was being inspected prior to shipping. Estimate for arrival at Wiscasset Ford to be April 24-30.
This means I guess I'll have to start cleaning out the garage...:LOL:
