  1. Does your Spray in bedliner cover the top of the bedrail under the rear window? Will tonneau cover still work?

I just checked and I do have the top rail sprayed up to back window. I had mine done at Line-X back in April of 2023. I have a Rough Country Tri Fold soft cover that I installed right after the bed was sprayed. In 2 years I have noticed that if driving in heavy rain that I will get a few...
  2. Ford DEALER service 5 Star

Great to see a good review of a dealership! Just curious, do you happen to know what the small oil leak was from?
  3. What was the first song you played or will play on your Maverick?

Metallica One. Quickly realized how "weak" the sound system was in a XLT trim Maverick . Remember I ordered mine in Jan of 2022 and took delivery in Jan of 2023. In the one year I only got to sit in a Maverick. Never got to test drive or anything like that. Good thing is that...
  4. Dealer Oil Change

When I changed my oil I kept and printed copies of the receipts for the oil, oil filter and also air filter that I installed. Went to my Ford Pass Ap on my phone and entered all my info under Service History. There is an "Add" feature at the top right hand corner. Tap on "Add" and you can...
  5. Dealer Oil Change

I have been getting my oil changed every 5,000 miles by a local Ford dealership to use my Ford points and have documentation incase of any warranty issues. In the past I have always changed my own oil. I've had absolutely no issues with the 2.0 ecoboost so I decided to do my own oil change at...
  6. What's your oil consumption like?

Just changed my oil today and was still on the full mark after 5,000 miles. No measurable oil consumption. 30,000 total miles.
  7. What was/is your wait time for your order?

Ordered in Jan of 22 and took delivery almost exactly 1 year later.
  8. Brewery Mavericks

LOL...I took delivery of my Maverick back in Jan of 23 ( back in the days of waiting a year for delivery) I remember going weeks (almost months) at a time without seeing another Maverick. Felt "exclusive" at the time! Glad to see how popular they have become.
  9. Cleaning engine compartment

I just use compressed air and wipe down accessible surfaces with a damp towel. Just for my peace of mind I avoid spraying directly with hose or especially power washer. Moisture is not your fried considering all the electronics and wiring harnesses around the engine compartment. I've seen so...
  10. 2025 Gas Gauge Trustworthy?

My sons 2024 Escape has the same exact digital gage cluster as the 2025 Maverick. Road trip from Detroit to Orlando. I learned to hate the gas gauge. It got to the point to where I just looked at the miles to empty vs how many segments were lit on the gas gauge. At one point miles to empty...
  11. After you drive it off the lot.

Remember I got mine in early Jan of 23 and Mavericks were fairly "rare" at that time. I did not even have a chance to sit in one, much less drive one before taking delivery of mine. I got a "free" tank of gas from the dealership...lol. My test drive consisted of driving for a couple of miles...
  12. 25% tariffs on imported vehicles

First off I'm not endorsing any political party or motives or tactics or reasoning for the newly announced tariffs. I live in the Detroit metro area and just trying to get the facts. I find the following stipulation interesting on the newly announced auto tariffs.......... Importers of...
  13. Had my new 2024 Maverick bed Line-X sprayed today!

Looks great! Been very happy with my Line-X bedliner for the last 2 years. Holds up really well!
  14. Bed Cover and Bed Liner - Help me out Please

I have a rough country soft tri fold bed cover and Line-X spray in bed liner. Got both in March of 23. Both have held up very well. I'm assuming the hard cover has the same quality and a more sturdy product. Couldn't be happier with the local Line-X shop and the quality job they did.
  15. Any JoCo Kansas Maverick owners?

I've got a 2023 XLT EcoBoost at 27,000 miles with the factory Continental tires. Still got lots of tread left on them. Maybe hybrid goes through tires faster?? Keep them rotated and I bet you'll get way more than 15-20,000 miles out of them.
  16. #3 Blackstone Sample Report

I've been using the Motorcraft synthetic blend 5W-30 every 5,000 miles since new considering that is the oil that is recommended in the owners manual. I now have almost 27,000 miles and the engine uses practically no oil between oil changes. Usually still clean looking. I will most likely...
  17. Ecoboost turbo question!!!

I do disable to engine start/stop each time I drive it. One of the reasons is for the turbo and keep a constant flow of oil to it when hot.
  18. Doing brakes yourself

Some EcoBoost owners reported having trouble activating brake service mode. Have any idea if this is still an issue?? Thank you for posting the documentation!
  19. Doing brakes yourself

Just curious how many miles you have?? I checked my brake pads at 25,000 miles and lots of life left in both the front and rear pads. I do believe that you don't need any special tools, however you need to set "brake service mode" to replace the rear pads. Do a search on "replace brake pads"...
  20. Open For Comments on NO ISSUE Mavericks

I have had my 2023 Ecoboost XLT since Jan of 23 with 26,500 miles. No major issues what so ever. Random squeaks from under steering column when cold (under 10 F). FM stereo reception is marginal on some stations (even local stations in metro Detroit). Just waiting for the CV axle issue to...
