I've been behind the wheel of mine approaching 3 years with zero issues.
photo is my grandson driving his first HPDE event. i am an instructor at porsche club events.
i bought power stop from rockauto too. fronts made a difference.
havent been able to do rears yet due to the "service mode" issue, but will get them on one way or another. at least the originals still have plenty of pad left for now. (26k . front went metal to metal at 10k mile-self inflicted...
if you do the brakes yourself post how it went.
i bought forscan just for this purpose and was not able to make it work.
(service mode-electric parking brake-retract rear calipers)
that's how i ended up with an XL..
my must have option was co-pilot 360, which was still an option at the highest trim level.

i don't need the tool rack system you are building out, but i but would like a space i could put cylinder heads or...
it was a racecar with solid mounts, stiff suspension, noisy and bumpy while sitting tightly strapped to an aluminum seat. the extra vibration was noted and discounted as acceptable.
the 944 was so outclassed in IT/S that only a small block swap was gonna be the difference....
wow, that's not what i expected.
on the porsche it had two counter rotating shafts in the block the were cog belt driven.
it was fabricating internal oil lines that was a big pain.
and it technically wasn't legal in the class i raced so i only did it on one engine.
WOW, great idea! My rear seat headrests have been stored behind the seat wrapped in paper bags since i arrived home in it from the dealership two years ago.
And they haven't moved, in two years i have never had a rear seat passenger.
