I don't know why people use this tracker since it is almost always out of sync. It's not the only one. Another brand tracker told one customer their car was still sitting at the plant the same day the dealer called saying it had arrived. Another customer order showed it arriving at the dealer...
I remember working in KC and some people from the Dallas office transferred there but went back after a year because itvwas too cold. Down south they wear parkas when it gets down to 50° while up north we are wearing shorts when it is 30°. So sounds like the south needs heated seats more.
Receptionist? Is it a really small dealership where the receptionist is also the salesperson and sales manager? Other wise I'd be in their showroom in 5 minutes talking to a real person.
Last week dealers were waiting to hear what time the Super Duty order bank was opening today. They said Maverick was opening at 4:00 EDT but could be later in the day. Super Duty trucks are also popular so if they open earlier in the day I could see problems.
The way I look at it is they should of had the hybrid at a higher price from the beginning like all other cars. But marketing won to get sales. Now the price reflects part of what the extra hybrid cost is.
Don't hold your breath. Private offer is on base price not options or packages since they didn't go up. It is still undecided what they will do about the hybrid price for rollovers.
Did you go through the order guide to see what is available? The price guide? The build tool? Since managers or specialists enter the order the salesman has limited insight. Depending on the size of your dealership it may take them 3 days to get the orders in since Super Duty truck orders also...
Why don't you elect different state legislators that will modify your state franchise laws to allow direct ordering to the manufacturer? You probably won't see it in your lifetime because you don't give as much money to your legislator as dealers do.
Since the order banks aren't open yet there...
There is no official paperwork yet because the order banks aren't open yet. When they can enter the order you should get a DORA with all information. Plus an order confirmation once Ford accepts the order and thecdealer COVPed it.
So if you haven't contacted them in 10 months how would he remember you? He has probably talked to 100s of people since then and if your order hasn't been scheduled what news was there? Some dealers went through their unscheduled list and made sure customers still wanted theirs so they could...
Which customers? There are as many different opinions as there are customers. Which ones do they listen to? How about the ones that say give me all options and cut the price $5,000?
