Did you have an unscheduled 2023 or is this a new order? Either way did the dealer confirm they were entering your order today? You will still need to fill out COVP paperwork including copy of your drivers license.
Most people don't order or need the Tremor or FX4 packages. BAP is a cosmetic package. Again, not many order it. A standard Lariat with the lux and all the safety equipment is $36,000. An XLT lux with Copilot 360 is $31,000. Since the Tremor, FX4, BAP are constrained to a small percentage of...
You are towing without knowing how much weight you are towing? Do you know your GVWR or GCWR or max tongue weight? Do you have the 4K tow? If not you should not be towing.
Only if they hadn't entered your email address in the system when you ordered. The email you received was from Ford? Did it have a scheduled build date in it? if not you should be getting your dealer to enter a 2024 order for you today. If it was a scheduled email you don't have to do anything...
You mean pre-order. Preview is something else. You have to sign your DORA or purchase order depending on your dealer or state along with the signature of the sales manager or general manager after they enter your order in the Ford order system. They need to make a copy of your drivers license...
The private offer is based on your 2023 base cost, no options or packages. Because of the additional standard equipment for the Lariat they haven't announced how that will work.
Just used the Long Mcarthur 2024 pricing tool to compare my 2023 Lariat eco, lux, copilot 360, copilot 360 assist, 4K, SIBL, full size spare, rails. My MSRP $37,740. 2024 $37,195. I wonder if Ford will give me a $545 'I should of waited' rebate?
I've had Wranglers and 4WD is different than AWD. I've seen one Maverick guy post he got stuck on a paved road with 5 inches of snow and others saying no problem. The Maverick is limited to small towing unless you go ecoboost and 4K. That package gives extra cooling, gearing, transmission...
But some people will think Ford should of been psychic and known their email address. If someone didn't get the 45 day sorry charlie emails from Ford then their dealers may of not entered the email address. Plus many salesman leave sales in a short time, often before training a replacement so...
The oil change minder usually have mileage and time built into them. My last three vehicles the change oil notice came on at 11 months (I don't drive 10,000 miles in a year). If that notice comes on you should to a change whether it is based on miles or time. The system probably keeps track of...
When they cut and paste the order guide they started with XL standard equipment and add the additional standard equipment from the XLT and Lariat pages. BUT they didn't edit out the items that were replaced by the higher trim, like the keyed ignition in the XL and XLT.
