  1. Bry@n's 23 Maverick XL adventure

So I am continuing along with the mods. I added a set of EGR in channel vent visors. Now I don't smoke but with the heater being kind of weak, I figured these would help on humid days for the defroster. Still not sure I like them but we will see. I also finished the Kia Cheapy mirror upgrade...
  2. Truck Bed Divider Kit

That bed divider is really nice the way it works with the rail system. Similar to a set up Dodge has for the Ram. Not worth $700 Fazools all in for an XL. I do like the way it can move forward and keep stuff tight against the bulk head of the bed.
  3. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

on the micro 2 fuse tap, there are 2 fuse spots. Closest to the bottom is where the original fuse goes from the panel, the top fuse is for the tap. That will get rid of your collision issue I think. If you only put one fuse in the top part of the fuse tap, that's definitely the issue.
  4. Eibach Lowering springs installed, Knocking noises.

I wanted to do the spring swap but I'm waiting until these issues are resolved.
  5. I went to see the 112,000 mile Maverick! Wear & tear condition report.

This could've been used as a Turo or Uber vehicle.
  6. Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) FORScan mod (confirmed working)

Thanks for all the info on this. Just so I understand, if I choose method 1 or 2, I will get speed signs and traffic signs? I don't want any tolerance info or feedback. The radar detector does that for me already. Or is that a must do?
  7. KO2 tires (factory stock size) on Hybrid Maverick

I don't see the problem. Trade off is minimal and if they are happy, that is all that matters.
  8. FX2 Hybrid Decals + Painted Lariat Wheels + Lowered on Eibach Prokit

I like the FX2 Hybrid decals. Hows the ride after the drop? Any issues with alignment afterward?
  9. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

How did you jam it in there? I wasn’t so lucky. Also, do you have a fuse in both positions on the tap?
  10. TruXedo Sentry CT tonneau cover from Real Truck - installed notes and photos

You're correct that I don't have experience with the x4s but I have experience with the mx4 and the x4. Several of both in fact. They all had QC issues. So that alone made me look at the Truxedo. I also used my cover yea round but Rain in the winter and cold overnight temps will cause water to...
  11. Will Jeep Wheels Fit Maverick?

    Both previous posters are correct.
  12. Its Official: A Maverick Owner

    Congrats.
  13. TruXedo Sentry CT tonneau cover from Real Truck - installed notes and photos

true but the water will freeze because backflips seal doesn’t seal well. Causing an issue for opening and closing I found it to be garbage frankly. Hot as a mother in the summer when rolling up. Water gets into the track and causes issues in winter month opening and closing. Great looking...
  14. TruXedo Sentry CT tonneau cover from Real Truck - installed notes and photos

    1) anything is possibly with enough force. I did try pulling up on it and it didn’t budge. 2) it’s a hard cover underneath, so cutting will just get them to the hard surface. This is really just taking away the crime of opportunity option. If somebody really wants in, they’ll get in.
  15. Lasfit Fog lights installed

Aux beam has an app for phone. No need to use switch when outside vehicle.
  16. Mothercuddler! Truck is likely a write-off from being rear-ended

He can definite swap the mirror, nobody will know. The truck will be sent to an auction. Nobody will be saying anything as long as he has a mirror to put back.
  17. Lasfit Fog lights installed

Thats what I planned. I'm using a Auxbeam controller that is 8 circuits though. Planned on doing bed lights, fog lights, add a light for the rear when hooking a trailer etc and maybe an air horm.
