I'm on the fence about this mod. On one end, I like the idea. The other end it really slows the tailgate down. When you have heavy crap in your hands, I like the fast downward motion. LOL
Picked up some cheap outdoor carpet at Home Depot. Broke out the ole Dewalt palm sander and sanded my board for the bed down. Wrapped the board with carpet and used 1" staples from my pneumatic stapler. I think it came out nice. Started late, so finished in the dark. I'll take more pics today...
No chance of that happening. Wheels I have now are from a shop that the dealer brought the bronco to for a wheel/ tire swap. The customers pays for both sets and gets one. Always better to do on your own.
I wouldn’t be judging what I can afford by the Maverick. I have a F150, Bronco and a few Suoerduties also. :). Just didn’t see the value of going to XLT or Lariat in the Maverick platform for my needs.
So the two locksmith I used had issues also. One couldn’t do it, something about codes. The second had to tell his machine (Chinese machine) what key it was. He called Supoort and they told him to put this key in. Once he did that it cut the key. Programmed without issue
Purchased the bed side cubby’s, bed upper d-rings and the front bed floor tie downs. Bed cubby’s use a 10mm socket, the d-rings have a T30 screw head. The bed floor tie downs use a t35.

So I grabbed the bed cubby’s, the front bed rings, rear top tie downs and associated bolts today from Ford. Installed the cubby’s. The lost the rear bed d-ring bolts so they’ll be dropping them to me Tuesday. The bolts for the cubby’s are a 10mm and the d-ring screw are a t30. Went in easy, took...
