Well, did you try and clear the headlights before driving?
It's good info to provide to people but clearing of the lights is the operators responsibility.
Yes, ^^^^ this!
I use scangrip lights. Besides shops lights. I want the surface as free and clear of contaminants and swirls as possible. I measure the paint before using a machine to get an idea of what I am dealing with. I've trained in perfecting paint and continue training as there is so...
Installed mine last night. Didn't have the correct fuse tap in house, waiting on amazon to finish wiring to fuse panel. Wasn't hard but there were a few pita moments.
There are a bunch of things. For one Rail dust, swirls etc. new vehicles still get a quick one step correction to be sure they are ready for a coating. Then you need to panel wipe the vehicle to be sure they are no fillers, oil residue left. You want the coating up bond well to the paint.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it. I love it in fact. Comparing it to Fords version for F150's, its right in line. I do like the add on bracket for gas cans. To me, that is one of the biggest reasons to get one. I've been thinking about how to make one.
I also am not a fan of the...
I have wheels and tires from 22 and they work. They are 315hz sensors. The sensors are $60 from Ford. The TPMS kit for 4 sensors are TMPS35. If you check, they are good for 22 and 23. So I call BS on them trying to sell you sensors. I put 23 maverick using my vin in this search and it provided...
Very true but it doesn't hurt to say that you've made it easier for them to see you. It's like PPE, not gonna chinse on safety...err perceived safety items :)
Not sure yet. Going back and forth honestly. I ordered a backet that will mount to the plate bracket and then I can install the 12"...
He's animated and I haven't watched him a lot but I agree that it worked out. At the time I was concerned because you'd have to assume when the US admin changes, so does fuel prices. However with the EV from Ford, it's put them in a good position.
I've used several a bunch but have stayed with Technicians Choice 582. Buy it in the 5 gallon jug and then put into spray bottle. I use these mostly on wash and seal details. Somebody that has a budget they want to stay in or on the salvage vehicles we rebuild. Another is CarPro Hydr02. I have...
I completely disagree with this. Spray base silica sealants are fine and easy to apply. Most can be applied while wet and used as a drying agent.
You should also never apply a coating after "claying the hell out of your paint". Claying causes micro marring and should be corrected before doing...
They said there was a price increase coming. You may want to reach out and get the cover first to save some $$. Just FYI. I believe the rep from Real Truck posted this info on MTC.
After seeing so many people post up raving reviews of Lasfit and their LED's, I had to give it a try. I will admit that this is the first time I have ever swapped LED bulb(s) into a vehicle. I just never saw the benefit. After watching Redneck Garage's video on the reverse lights, I was in...
We have the 2.7 and mileage isn't great. My wife drives it and her longer legs lend themselves well to getting in. My short legs makes it a little effort to get in. There is a lot of room in the Bronco's especially compared to Jeeps. We were in Moab a year ago doing trails with a Bronco. Pretty...
