I've been so impatient checking the tracker once or several times per day since I got an order confirmation. My truck shipped 4/22 and for about a week the tracker would update every other day until 5/3 and since then it has not changed.
I know the tracker isn't the most reliable. Does this...
I believe it was a small fleet order that got cancelled because there where 3 identical trucks that became available. i got a photo of the dealer invoice which I then was able to track the order on the ford site. dealer is good and honoring the MSRP from before the increase earlier this year...
I took over a cancelled order however was not able to modify it because it was already had a scheduled build week. Not sure how they could reserve you one not yet scheduled unless they are just talking someone's spot from last year's orders and hoping it gets produced this year
Congrats it's finally arrived! Was the tracker somewhat accurate for you? I'm at 3 weeks since shipped but the tracker hasn't updated in the past 10 days, I check it every morning and disappoint myself every time
oh man thats a sweet rig! I've been eying that rack for a rtt but not sure if I can justify the cost just yet. if i can get out and use the tent often enough might order one. Are you happy with the fit and finish on everything?
Mirrors are pretty easy to replace, I would just buy the mirror from the dealer, drop it off at a local body shop to paint and diy install it to save 500$
Yep, this is the most expensive one I've seen up north, it seems majority of them used are listed at about the out the door price it would have been for the first owner. This one is an exception
The bolt pattern is 5x114 not the 5x108 the mav uses, I was considering them until I realized they would need an adapter spacer, I do remember seeing someone on the forum do exactly that though.
I took over a canceled order, original order placed 10/01/22, built 4/13/23, white XL ecoboost with only rubber floor mats. Eta on the tracker says may 15-21 arrival, dealership says may 29th. Vancouver
I had ordered a XLT hybrid lux on Jan 29/23 with the very low expectation it would be built...
you'll only need one. unsure of the code but it shouldn't be hard to find a colour close enough. ive used the duplicolour touch up pens and they work good although a bit pricey for what they are.
Ive got a small plan once my mav arrives to try out overlanding, I've never had an AWD/4wd vehicle so it'll open up more camping than what I could previously do in my lowered vehicles.
Looking at building a bed rack for a budget RTT and go on a couple trips and see what I need to upgrade from...
