Motegi MR139 Fitment Issues?

Has anyone installed these on their Maverick? Hybrid or otherwise. The offset is 40mm on a 17x7.5. Some retailers have them listed as fitting and some have them listed as not. I talked to one wheel fitter that thought they might have too much positive offset (2mm too much?) to fit without the use of a wheel spacer. Any real world info would be greatly appreciated. I've seen one thread on here with someone installing them and they used spacers but it was unclear whether they needed spacers and or adapters because they had pulled the wheels off one of their other vehicles.

The offset is 40mm on a 17x7.5. Some retailers have them listed as fitting and some have them listed as not.

40mm offset is only 2mm away from stock (38mm).
Try Tirerack - nothing saying it doesn't fit and you can visualize it.

The bolt pattern is 5x114 not the 5x108 the mav uses, I was considering them until I realized they would need an adapter spacer, I do remember seeing someone on the forum do exactly that though.

Not sure where you see that ... if you use TireRack ..shop for wheels by vehicle the MR139 matches

Tire rack has it in a 5x108
