All CV shafts will fail. But 45k seems a bit better that what others with non Tremors reported. Jury is out on how long the 25's updated half shafts will live.
Some people have more than 1 vehicle. I currently have 5. One of them that my wife drives. About once a year I let one go, and add another. I only have a payment on the Maverick.
There really are no "good" deals on Mavericks. You buy it or you don't. Not much room for negotiations, except on a trade. I was happy I got in on the employee pricing a few months ago. I got one with over $4,000 in options for the same that you paid. I didn't trade anything.

Pretty sure it would be no drop for the u haul, but a 2" drop may work. 2" rise should be closer. My little square drop camper required a 16"-17" ball height.
