TruXsport soft roll-up tonneau cover. Chrome letters for the tailgate.
I pulled the chrome center caps off of my Crown Vic and gave them to the Mav. Then my dash got improved with my little hula girl. Still looking for something for that cubby!
Oh and it has also been treated with NHoil.
I know how to find the manual, I also have it in my glove box, thanks for the tip though.
On fwd, chains should be place on the front wheels as they are the drive wheels. Having them on the front helps with steering and breaking because of the weight transfer to the front under breaking. It...
I don't know what the manual states off hand. As a rule fwd veh the chains go on the front, rear wheel on the back, awd and 4x4 on all four or just the rear if you only have one set. Ideally you want chains on all four wheels for max traction if you have them no matter the drive line.
Lojack for car theft is pretty useless nowadays. When it first came out in the 90s we had 1 cruiser with the system installed. By the time I retired a few years back there wasn't one cruiser with the system in it. When we had it we found 1 car that I can remember but we did locate a chop shop...
Looks like a gps tracker installed by your dealer. They put them in so if you default on your loan they don't need to hunt for your truck. Just uninstal it and put your original port back in place.
Always nice having the FD near by just in case! Buffalo is tuff in the winter. My wife lived in Buffalo for 5 years in the 80s. They got snowed in for a week one year. By day 4 everyone in the apartment building was pooling food. Fun when your in your 20s.
One of the forum sponsers has them on sale now pm them for a good deal. I prefer the folding kind over fixed. When you walk into one and chuck your shin you'll know why.

I miss chrome soo much! I only needed one can of wax for everything. Now I need a shelf full of crap. Cleaner for 3 kinds of plastic, 1 for rubber and a can of wax/ polish/ ceramic for the paint! Don't forget the stuff you need to wipe off the stuff you got on the part it doesn't belong on! lol
In a normal market you never want to tell your salesman it's a cash deal. They don't want your money up front. The market for pre order is slightly different because your priced at order. Better to let them think your going to finance get the out the door price in writting then tell them cash...
BuddyS is right.
You're talking want over need here. There is never equity in anything that loses value the minute you bought it. Your Forester is running and almost payed off why look for another vehicle? It's a fools bet to flip it just to make more payments that will hurt your budget. All my...
The stock stereo is fine for me. It has quality sound.
I'm in my truck paying attention to the squirrels and woodchucks flying down the highway playing car ping pong. My attention doesn't need to be on every nuanced note coming out of my stereo. I'll save that for when I flip the arm on my...
I feel for you. I've dug out of storms like that all my life. I'm disabled LEO I have to go out every inch or so just to move snow so it doesn't build up too high or I can't move it. I'd be living outside in 5 inches an hour and still falling behind. Lol. Glad you and your dad got through it.
I did that when I was healthy on a dusting and blew 3/4" gravel from my old driveway. When I heard the stones pinging off my neighbors wheels I shut it down real quick. Lol
I can't swing a leaf blower nowadays. Thanks for the thought though.
