  1. Warning lights popped up while driving and truck wouldn't engage drive

If you drive it anywhere it should be down to the dealer to have the code read. My local dealer is willing to read an active code without charging any fees. If you pull in with the code on DO NOT shut the truck off, instead leave it running so the code doesn't clear. Oh, do tell! Early hybrids...
  2. Granger Purchase

Tell that to the people who ordered '24 model year trucks that now have Stop Sales for a camera recall, that has no known resolution date.
  3. New 2025 owners - Are you paying MSRP?

I have been seeing MSRP and in some cases a little under. It seems a lot of dealers have finally caught onto the fact that people don't like fighting over new vehicle pricing and are fine just "ordering" a vehicle and paying MSRP to have a good experience. The average consumer today is far more...
  4. Real Truck Rebates

I think they are still active on the forum here. @Realtruck My experience with them for my truck was great. They were quick to respond and I had the cover in 3 days.
  5. 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid Fuel Efficiency (Real World MPG) Test by TFL

Well, not good enough, time to cancel the entire product. Everyone get a Prius.
  6. my 93 octane fuel costs $2.45/gal

A local Shell station has ethanol free 110 for ~$11.50 a gallon. We have a few events a year here at which point that station becomes very popular. The fuel and hotdog are worth the cost of membership.
  7. Are dealers able to order 2025's for stock sale yet?

I imagine that the number of Maverick buyers who order their vehicle is a pretty small portion of the owner base. It makes sense to be seeing a lot of stock orders.
  8. Brake issues @ 4 MPH

When did you do the last update? As Ford has indeed released multiple updates to address the issue. Towards the end of last year we had an update performed and it essentially removed it entirely.
  9. Ford US Sales Grow Double the Industry Pace in 2024, Led by Trucks & Hybrids (Including Maverick: 131,142 Sold in 2024)

Mustang Mach-E naming is on the same level of horrible decision as changing Coke's flavor for "New" Coke years ago. Coke was smart enough to realize their mistake and course correct.
  10. Removing the Telematics void the warranty?

I have over 20 years in IT with a large portion of it having to pay attorneys money to defend privacy on a large scale. I am incredibly informed and have, again, had to pay attorneys to write these agreements, let alone read them. In the context of communications and privacy, you have that...
  11. OEM tires

That is absolute rubbish. I live in BFE of the PNW and put just over 40,000 miles on the factory Continental tires. The PNW would disagree with you.
  12. Removing the Telematics void the warranty?

Do you carry a cell phone? If you do then why are you worried about what the truck is doing? It is tracking a fraction of what your phone is. This viewpoint has always cracked me up. As for the question at hand, yes, they can void your warranty if they find it was a factor in the issue.
  13. 2024 maverick leaking coolant into spark plug cylinders

Your dealer is full of sh**. The amount of water that would have to be mixed in with the fuel to cause what you are describing is absolutely insane. You are talking about a substantial ratio of water to fuel. Additionally, it would impact all of the cylinders more, or less, equally. It wouldn't...
  14. Can I Buy a 2025 and store it for a year?

The least expensive as you just need it to maintain that 12v charge. Empty, empty. Ethanol fuel will gel in about 5-6 months and becomes a real PITA to clean out. The Maverick isn't going down in price and will only go up with each model year. It is possible that if he buys it now that he...
  15. Can I Buy a 2025 and store it for a year?

No, not like that. Drain it completely of fuel as ethanol does not like sitting for extended periods of time. Put a good battery tender on it. Cover. Relax while away.
  16. Ford Motor Company Announcement [CLOSED AND WARNINGS HANDED OUT DUE TO POLITICS]

Chrysler told us to take a hike AFTER they told us to request reimbursement for a warranty repair we paid out of pocket for. We provided bank statements, a copy of the cleared and cancelled check, work order from the shop, receipt for the paid repair by the shop, and had the shop call them to...
  17. I just purchased my 2025 Maverick...but didn't get my truck! (Got it 4 days later with no problems)

Absolutely ethical. They want to close the year out as best as possible. You want the best deal possible for your trade. This is how business works.
  18. I Guess It Was Our Turn. RIP Little Maverick!

Everyone walked away but both vehicles were destroyed. The front of the Maverick completely crushed in as designed. The passenger cabin stayed square enough that all the doors opened and (sort of) closed. All airbags deployed. I am comfortable saying that this accident wouldn't have been a...
  19. $40K- the new norm?

:ROFLMAO: One of those "Facts don't care" folks, while making up facts. I guarantee I know your political leanings.... Point: The Maverick price increase has outpaced inflation by several times! The Maverick has increased, on the low end, by ~14%, and on the upper end of things ~20%. Inflation...
