Sounds like ours may be on the same train. Got a shipping notification from Ford on 2/18 with a delivery estimate of 3/14-3/20 to Holyoke Mass. Seems like they must have built a bunch for the New England/Northeast region and sent them off. Will be nice to see some on the roads around here.
Replying to myself to keep this info together in case it's helpful for others. Got an e-mail that mine truck was shipped today and should be delivered in 4-6 weeks, coming by rail.
My window sticker shows 402/763. It seems like none of the denominators match, so maybe those numbers are not the number of builds that week?
Either way, my estimated delivery date is still March 20. Talked to my dealer yesterday and they said I could come in any time in March to work through...
Adding to the info on the thread. Was scheduled for a build week of 2/14.
My window sticker populated on 2/10. According to the Ford tracker the truck is "In Production" as of 2/15 with an estimated delivery of 3/25 to Mass. The transport method from the window sticker is Rail. My modules...
Check the tracker if you haven't, mine was scheduled for next week, after being delaying from Week of Jan. 31 and Feb. 7, but it's showing as "In Production" as of Tuesday this week and there's a window sticker available.
Looked into them for my wife’s Escape for the same reason. Ford makes OE ones, but there are warnings all over that using them for booster seats isn’t safe.
I saw a Ford ad on YouTube the other day that's clearly showing they're heading toward a new model like the OP describes.
The pitch was that if you custom order an F150 or Ranger (not the Maverick yet for obvious reasons) your build gets prioritized in the queue over dealer stock orders and...
I used a similar setup in my '96 Ranger. Two small 2x4 "feet" on either side that slide into the front corners of the bed with a 2x4 mounted to the top of them and then fork mounts on top of that. Was able to fit three bikes in a pinch.
Sounds like the issue the OP is having would be fixed...
What tire/wheel combo is that on the Niner? Looks like WTB Senderos in 650b? I have the same frame and have wondered how big I could go if I converted it to 650b.
That's what I thought when we were trialing different cables in the Escape. Everything would work when connected to a laptop, but not when connected to the vehicle. The cable that ended up working had a much tighter fit in the port in the vehicle than the others did. Seems that there's a fairly...
It's probably a cheap cable that isn't capable of transferring data at the necessary speed and/or not making perfect contact with the flash drive or the port. We went through probably four cables in my wife's Escape before finding one that worked. I'd check to see what's available from the...
Sure they'll likely add different trims of the Maverick pickup in future model years, but I think what original quote means is that Ford will have:
Mustang: Traditional, Mach E, etc.
Bronco: Regular, Sport, etc.
Maverick: Small Pickup, maybe a van to replace the transit, maybe an overgrown...
