I did not see this posted, looks like the hybrid Maverick will be one of the 2022 vehicles safety tested by the NHTSA.

I have had this issue and described it a few times in various posts on this forum. Its really unnerving in stop and go traffic, because the vehicle (like you said) just does not want to stop. I submitted an official complaint to the NHTSA about it.
I don't think I have heard of any fitment issues with any of the tonneau covers for the Maverick, except some of the cheaper soft covers. I think the Truxedo Trifold soft cover was short... not sure if they fixed that.
Bakflip MX4 hard cover seems to be popular. I have one being delivered...
I did not, I had a local Line-X do it for about the same price. I decided I wanted the durability of Line-X vs the softer Rhino product. Rhino is a good product, it just is a bit softer than Line X and I do some pretty heavy hauling in my truck.
You are hearing contactors opening and closing. Basically the truck is maintaining itself by turning on and off coolant to the battery (among other things) or in some cases if it detects the key near by it will prep itself to start. All the hybrids I have driven do this.
Its possible all those things happened during a stress test Ford is/was doing on the Maverick 2.5l after release. The issue may have never occurred with with a private owners Maverick. This is Ford's attempt to avoid a possible failure.
I'm not sweating it. Like you said, I will get the fix...
Nothing of that nature for sure. only issue I have had with my Maverick (hybrid) is the low speed brake issue, where it locks up at 3-5 MPH when making a gentle stop/slowing down.
Thats the one thing that has held me off from buying this cover. I don't think it can be opened all the way like a Gator FX cover can be. I feel like being able to open all the way up and rest against the cab is a very useful feature too when hauling furniture. Just open up the cover and you are...
If you do your own oil changes check this out. I am in no way affiliated with penzoil, but its been very well rated by various independent labs and a few pretty good youtube channels (projectfarm is my favorite)...
I would be really curious what the oil report from a lab would be on your oil. I have heard of oil being pushed like that and coming back completely ok.
I plan on changing the oil ever 8-9k now that the first change is done. A little conservative, but I prefer the peace of mind that my engine...
I changed mine for the first time around 5k miles. Definitely would not wait any longer then that, was a bit of sealant residue and metal particulate in the oil. The oil "looked" fine, but hard to tell without an analysis.
Hood deflector makes keeping the hood clean a lot easier.

I also find the RainX bug windshield fluid is a must. The upright nature of this trucks windshield seems to make it attract bugs a lot more than my...
Heh... I shudder to think.
I wonder what the average delivery time is for ordered Mavericks. I'm going to guess its around 9 months. Some folks have gotten theirs in 4-5 months, while others seem to be a much longer wait. Mine was right around 8 months.
Price protection has apparently worked for some people who ordered the vehicle after they joined the farm bureau.
When you go to get a certificate from your farm bureau, you would have to generate a 2021 certificate in this case to get the price protection. But you can only get a 2021...
