Thats what I did last year, just to get one. I ordered one this year with all the options I wanted, see if I luck out and actually get built.
I also added the aeroskin bug deflector/hood protector, made a significant difference in keeping the hood/winshield cleaner, I highly recommend it. Its...
400w inverter for the outlet in the cab. Its cheap to add from the factory, but very expensive (almost 10x more) to add after the fact if you end up needing it.
That is for the Hybrid, this seems to be something else since the OPs truck is a 2.0 AWD. Sounds a bit like auto hold is engaging prematurely, but thats just a guess.
All I have to do is come to a complete stop, let off the brakes, let the vehicle creep forward on a level surface (no gas pedal) and then apply brakes trying to come to a slow smooth stop. Brakes will grab almost every time on my Maverick in that situation.
My work around is to hit the brakes...
I come from a big family that drove around a 15 passenger van with some of the worst AC (and sometimes none) in the world... your kids will be fine.
also the MAV AC is amazingly good.
Dealer can change it back to 10 for you. I don't think its something thats done on purpose, system probably assigns a random number between 10-19. When it changes to below 10 is when Ford is looking at your build.
I would not say the issue I am having is or should be related to the Mavericks cost. This is a safety issue and should be addressed as such. I have been in two near misses now where the brakes "hesitated" to engage. Typically this occurs in stop and go traffic where you come to a complete stop...
I will give you a call in a year when the Mav I ordered a couple weeks ago comes in. There is definitely something not right with the way my mav brakes. Hoping its just a glitch with the early ones, guess I will find out.
They last longer and tend to be brighter. If you put them in the tail/brake lights like some do, they are obnoxiously bright (imagine a headlight on the back of someone's vehicle) for people driving behind you.
IMO, if you want to get the LED just wait till your current bulbs burn out. Why...
That argument could be made about almost any EV vs most Hybrids. Even a basic Tesla Model 3 has a 50kwh battery, which would make around 45 Maverick batteries.
From an emissions impact it would make much more sense to make all vehicles Hybrids first, then slowly convert to EVs (or hopefully...
Not sure how wide the Kia is, but one of the things I really like about my Maverick is being able to stick wide stuff that would not fit in most small/midsize SUVs. Examples would be 4x8 sheet goods.
Also, if cubic feet is the main priority, don't mini vans kinda dominate that space? I think...
Which? I suspect $35-40k is not far off for a base EV Maverick. Seeing how the F150 lighting work package was around $40k when it was first introduced.
Yeah my display has gone off a few times. Just this morning it went all rainbow colored and froze up. If it happens again I will try and get some pictures.
Adding some foam to the cloth seats would probably not be a bad idea. My cloth seats are doing the bunching thing in the corner some folks were complaining about a while ago, so adding some foam would probably fill that out and remove the creasing.
