Lariat models have Sync 3 communications which are unaffected by the camera issue. BTW, that vehicle that I displayed is currently available. My son-in-laws vehicle is a FX4 version and was delivered just prior to the recall for 2024’s
You might consider this a good opportunity to negotiate a better price when it does become available for sale or if you can find a lariat on the lot some where, as they are unaffected by this recall. My son in law bought a new Lariat just 3 weeks ago for $4K off of MSRP in Texas.
It seems to me that all 2025 Mavericks will not be affected by the current recall associated to all XL and XLT’s as Ford is using Sync 4 in all 2025 Mavericks now.
Maybe the current issue with the image freezing caused Ford to go in that direction for 2025?
Unless I am missing something, the Recall involves vehicles manufactured from a particular date, through 11/28/2023. My MY24 was manufactured on 12/11/23 and as one would expect, I have not received a recall notice concerning this. My son-in-law has a MY24 manufactured on 8/12/24. It was...
My son-in-law just took delivery of a 24 Lariat, FX4 loaded for 4K off MSRP and Ford financing at 5.99%. It was offered at 6.99%, but they lowered it for some reason. (He did have a trade of a 2019 Explorer ST loaded up)
For those of you that have had good luck with Diode Dynamics know whether or not the D.D. LED lamp without the added resistor would work, thereby depending on the FORScan disabling approach.
Good points. I was looking for a simple low cost option that I could do without cutting into the wiring harness for the installation of the resistors.
I apologize for my offensive comment. I may be changing my opinion down the road if they begin to fail, however I have 5 spare bulbs to go...
Get a life. I enjoy making things work. I speak of my experience which has worked flawlessly for going on nine months now. Just to add another bit of experience, I bought the original Lasfit without the resistors and they worked fine, except for the dreaded hyperflash. But I didn’t know...
Lasfit is not manufacturing them any more. Diode Dynamics has a solution involving adding inline resistors, but I am not sure if they are doing this any more.
That is not true! The light assemblies can be easily removed and the bulbs are simple to remove. It took me only 5 minutes to changeout each side. What you said is true for the headlight assembly, but not for the subject units as per my post.
The problem is that all LED bulb manufacturers...
I have been running Lasfit T3-4257R in the rear stop/tail, T-WT21W for backup, and T3-4247D switchbacks for front turn signal since March of this year. I used FORScan to disable the stop/tail outage and the front turn signal Outage..
Everything works perfectly well without any hyperflash at...
