Wow! I had a Tundra pulling a 16' enclosed trailer and got 6 mpg. If I slowed to 50 MPH it got all the way up to 8 mpg. It did only slightly better when empty. The Tundra would get 17 mpg without the trailer.
I won't be pulling anything other than a landscape trailer with my Ecoboost...
A few years ago, my buddy ran off the road and down an embankment on his Harley. When the Virginia State Police arrived, we asked if I could pull it back up the hill with my truck (using a 30 foot nylon strap), and he could have cared less. We actually had the strap across the (not very busy)...
I needed a truck that my wife and I could get in and out of easily. Our Tundra was difficult for me to get into, and impossible for the wife. A few Saturday's ago, we went to the Ford dealer, looked at a few Mavericks, and bought one.
The last Ford that I owned was over 50 years ago. So far...
I GOT IT!
I didn't realize that when scrolling on the "main" page, that each display had its own submenu. i.e. when the pretty picture of the Mavrick shows, this indicates that there are options to set/display features of the truck (guess I missed the obvious. . .)
Thanks for everyone's...
Attached is a screen shot of the display. What is shown is the only options that I can get to. One other screen shows MPG, Miles, and Miles to empty.
Those are the only options that I can seem to access.
It just seems that I should be able to see many more options, based on what others have shown.
I don't see a "settings" option on my console screen. I had read that you can view "miles to oil change" and other options, but I see only very limited options on my display. Shouldn't I be able to get to a settings screen?
This 2024 xlt has "Ford co-pilot360"
I stopped at Lowe's yesterday, left the truck running with my wife in the passenger seat. When I got back, the door was locked. Don't know what I'd have done if she wasn't in the truck already.
Read on other posts about bumping the door lock on the way out, maybe that is what I did.
When I open the driver's door, I hear a faint whining noise (like maybe a motor running) coming from the front of the truck. Anyone know what this may be?
The same reason we just bought our Maverick -- it got to where it was too hard climbing up into our Tundra. The Tundra was a great truck and very dependable, but too hard to get into. So far, love the 2024 Maverick.
Found it! After many searches, I found a youtube video that cleared it up: I was always pressing the menu button before scrolling, but now I realize if I just scroll with the select button, there are a lot of display options.
