Red tape and governmental control is what's needed to stop the dealers from the crazy markups. Most companies and dealers operate legitimately. Controls are needed for company's who are always looking for loopholes. My opinion.

I saw a Hyundai Santa Cruz on I-85, Greenville SC. Did research and watched Youtube reviews and the Hyundai reviews all mentioned the Maverick. The hybrid and MPG won me over.
At this point, I'm hoping mine (Lariat, hybrid, 360, lux) is a 2023. My niece is a senior engineer with Chrysler (or whatever their name is today). She says never buy a first-year vehicle. Hopefully, many of the bugs (they all have them) are eliminated in 2023.
