This is a followup post that may benefit all. I used "AI" to find a solution for starting the truck when the battery dies. Using Copilot the answer came right up with reference to the dwinch53 post. I've been using copilot for two years researching a wide range of subjects involving health...
This is a great post. A good friend of mine got stuck today for three hours when his key fob battery went dead in a two year old VW. Luckily he got help from a Good Samaritan who took him to Autozone to have the battery replaced. I also ran into the same problem two weeks ago with my wife's two...
Found this regarding the 2025 Tremor 2.0 vs 2025 Lariat exhaust: "The 2025 Maverick Tremor uses a more performance-oriented exhaust with a truck side exit and Borla’s Polyphonic Harmonizer technology, while the 2025 Maverick Lariat typically retains a single side exit exhaust with a more refined...
I upgraded a 2024 Lariat to a 2025 Tremor, both with the 2.0. The Tremor is much smoother in ride and transmission shifting. The MPG is similar. The Tremor engine has a low smooth rumble when accelerating and actually seems stronger. I also had three escapes over ten years, all with the 2.0. The...
It's a composite shim from Home Depot. It was cut from a middle section to fit. It's a bit large so that when placed it could be pulled out if it didn't work. Three weeks now and no rattle.
This sounds like the same rattle in my 2025 Tremor. It was extremely annoying. The fix was a small shim placed between the panels as shown in the picture. Rattle now gone. I suspect the parts weren't fully mated during assembly.
Rolling in on 80 in my 2025 Tremor. Been married to the one and only for 52 Years. This Maverick is one of the nicest and most practical vehicles owned.
Found my rattle; 2025 Tremor. Used a shim between two overlapping plastic panels in the area shown in the illustration. It was surprising how much space was there.
I won't buy a vehicle that doesn't support CarPlay. The car manufacturers could save us a lot of money if they ditch their proprietary software ambitions. It will manifest in lost sales.
The last four vehicles I have owned came with navigation and Serius XM that never got used because of redundancy.
