I dont use a frame on mines, but i also haven't tried to run my mav through a carwash. Just make sure the plate is flat and flush in the bracket, dont give the brushes something to grab.
Might be overkill, but you could also try sanding the edge of the plates. They're really rough so it might...
Nice! All of those cars are older than me:rockon: my 1st new car was the 2019 Ranger but before that I blew through roughly 20 Hondas, 4 Toyotas, 3 Fords, 1 Chevy, 1 BMW, and 2 Nissans. The oldest of the bunch being a 91 civic which i still have today:cwl:
I 2nd what dalola said. But to put in consideration, I see the hybrid still has the deep sleep issues as previous models. If you go that route you'd have to trickle charge it whichever way suites you, if you dont drive it regularly. Acceleration is night and day between hybrid and ecoboost, I'd...
Any cover will work, with how "level" the dash is, but if it does slip just tie it to one of those vents with thread or fishing line so you dont see it. A lot of creative ways to go about it.
I had a 96 f150 extra cab long bed, my very 1st vehicle! Miss that truck, even with 45" tires she never had cv issues like these mavs with leveling kits, but maybe I got lucky.
I loved my 2019 Ranger, but since I moved didn't have a need for something that big. By no means am I loyal to ford but with my track record of choosing trucks they always have what i need/want.
😅I splurged a little when I went for the FX4, I actually just wanted AWD plus 4k towing but figured the FX4 package was well spent money. Already having a FWD and RWD just made sense to get something different. Plus I live in the Bay Area, no real need for 4x4 nor do I wanna drive hours just to...
Exactly the point of the question, it can do so many things, but everyone is different. Just wanna see how others actually use it, and maybe learn new things or come up with more ideas.
I've only had the Mav for about a month and using it as a daily driver to break it in. currently at 1800 miles, but will wait until 1st oil change until i stop using it as a daily. Just curious to see how everyone else uses their's.
I've had my truck for almost a month and never seen it between the hash marks, only on them, 1800 miles and my 5th tank. Honestly, I just look at the estimated range left.
I'll also be using 4 JB welded bolts, but will also cut the board to sit on the existing brackets under the modules and the three threaded posts so in theory I'd have nine supports. I'll get started on it late Saturday.
Not sure if its the same thing, but I found the answer, its the module for Lane Keep assist. I'll probably relocate everything to that area, since it doesn't have a lot of slack in the wiring. Unless someone has a better way.
Drive up to a dealership or find an older maverick to compare it to. I have tow hooks on mines so I can't use it anyways. It requires cutting the original cover. You could be the pioneer of this mod, I'd say go for it if you can afford the risk.
Yada yada yada stuff your feelings into the little cubby you 1st genners love so much. I got use to the controls, dont even look at em all that much, plus voice control makes it that much easier on top of having android auto with Google controls.
