The L option is if you leave the car (open a door) and need it to be in Neutral (not Park). I've never had it change out of Neutral on its own if I'm in the car.

The short answer from what I've read: the size is 14x1.5 mm, and the torque is 150 ft-lb (very high, but common for Ford trucks). Here is an Amazon link I found for solid replacements. I have NOT yet tried them...

Does anyone know whether that paint scrub issue is still happening in 2024 models? Has Ford changed anything yet? I can't believe they want to pay for endless paint repairs.
My new Eco is somewhere between built and shipped. While waiting (and waiting), and looking at my window sticker, I noticed my 2024 with FX4, machined gray wheels (235 tires) and tow package shows mileage of 22/29/25 (cty, hwy, comb). An earlier sticker for a '23 FX4 (I had a chance to buy)...
