I have a '25 on order, but it will be replacing a Prius v (the wagon). More utility with about the same city mpg and a lot more power. Plus I look forward to having AWD again since we average 5' of snow a year.

I'll have to remember this when I hopefully get the '25 I ordered. We (and especially my wife and kids) listen to a lot of cds, most of which are audio books that we get from the library. Could rip them, but this would be easier for them to just pop it in and play.
Production? It depends. It seems a bunch of these recalls are related to software issues (maybe I'm wrong on that?). That's not related to production, but the programmers not being thorough enough in their testing and pushing software out before it's really ready for deployment.
Yup, confirmed with Ford my XL hybrid awd w/4k is not being built ... not that I'm surprised, but I initially had hopes when only 6 thousand some 25s were ordered.
Seeing that you're the only one who posted about getting a production date so far, I'm starting to think that you effectively exhausted all of Ford's supplied. Congratulations on ruining it for the rest of us, trying sharing better next time
It seems like not much will be built in those first few weeks since it seems to be only XLTs with FWD hybrid (If i understand that right that there will be no XLs, Tremors, or AWD ... and I can't option the 2.0 EB with FWD or Lariats with FWD), and the hybrid is limited availability as it...
I just went to Ford's website, and you're right the hybrid option is now $1750. Hopefully they don't raise the '25 price before making and shipping them.
Interesting. I have a '15 Prius v and my ac compressor is nearly silent on all settings. I've never heard anything like that. Even my loudest dehumidifier I've had sounded better than that. That original ac compressor just doesn't sound healthy... maybe they really are that loud these days, but...
Agreed. Why aren't the workers picking up on these flaws and fixing them before the vehicles get further down the line? No pride in their work or low work ethic? Ford should hold their employees to higher standard as this doesn't seem like a wise or cheap business practice (maybe why they're...
I wouldn't mind the wireless if the battery were replaceable. But if I understand it right, when the battery dies, you have to buy a new one, cut/peel off old key pad, and install the new one because you can't replace the battery. If true, who's (not so) bright idea was that?!? That's a big no...
"Please consider that 25MY Maverick will be now an OTD-Fitness Vehicle Line"
What does that mean? What's an OTD-Fitness Vehicle Line? Am I required to excercise?
Yes, I got a confirmation e-mail. Ordered on the 7th, got my e-mail on the 8th with order ID J000. There was discussion in this thread that if you ordered early, you won't get a confirmation e-mail. My recollection was there was a glitch and no confirmation e-mails were sent out, and they...
Understand, but I have a short drive to work and was doing all I could to use regenerative braking, so my pads and rotors were being used very little most of winter. Salt plus iron (or mild steel) isn't a good mix for corrosion, thats not a myth (makes think of Toyota & "cablegate"). This was...
The one problem I've had with my prius (maverick not built yet) is if I use regenerative braking too much in winter, road salt can rot the brake rotors in a few years. I've had to make sure to brake harder to keep the rotor surface clear of rust so rot doesn't take hold.
that's because my Maverick will be super special with the secret codes unlocked. If you want push button on the xl, you dealer must hit "up, down, up, down, F1, F10, left, right, down, down" while submitting the order. That will unlock all secret features and give your Maverick unlimited life...
