No, I do not baby my vehicles at all. I just don't purposely try to destroy expensive components when it is not remotely necessary. My truck sits outside all winter in Maine. I have never needed to scrape the headlights.
The way that Ford implements the points system is not good at all. The dealer has to have the service department generate an invoice even if it is an accessory item that normally goes throug their parts department that has normal counter service that accepts cash and credit cards directly. Every...
I have very little faith this vehicle will have the type of following of the original. The electric only thing will be a complete non-starter for most of the people that were attracted to this brand in the past. They are going to be way too late to market, and trying to build market share...
I got one as well. If it is legit, why does it appear so shady? Is Ford paying them, or did they or someone else sell them my information for some other purpose? This low trust society we are moving towards is terrifying.
So no politics, but inflamatory threads are allowed that are designed to bait people into political discussions are allowed?
DELETE this thread immediately and enforce the rules without bias. Or allow free discussion so that people can not get their dig in without being challenged.
The problem with this over add on 3rd party devices is that even after you pay off your loan, it is still built into basic systems of your vehicle. A small percentage of people don't pay their loans, yet this will be baked into every vehicle and the cost will be passed on to all customers...
I have known tons of people that have sold vehicles to Carvana, Carmax, etc. but I have never met anyone that bought one from them (or at least that would admit to it). Who are these people? What is happening? I seriously don't understand any of it.
I am convinced that Ford has basically created a Rube Goldberg machine as a marketing tactic and whoever sits at the top must get a lot of enjoyment out of the whole thing. Essentially nothing has changed from the basic manufacturer dealer model that has existed for decades. People chase their...
Someone in the NC area should definitely do it. Play dumb and see if the sales person knows what they are talking about. When I was trying to find one to see in person just as they were starting to hit dealerships I was shocked at how little some of them knew about the Maverick. Some flat out...
Why does it seem the more expensive the transaction, the more likley there is to be mistakes like this. Realtors are even worse than car salesmen. Meanwhile my local supermarket rarely makes a mistake in their weekly ads.
Who's up for an impromptu Northern Maine Maverick Meetup? We can get to the bottom of this mystery while testing out the snow performance of the Maverick. I am still not convinced he didn't cut a dollar or photoshop it trying to scam Ford for some of that sweet sweet plastic. What's the best...
By all means keep wildly speculating. You might know what the symptom is, but it doesn't sound like you know what the problem is. The only person that can help is a technician at a Ford dealer. Luckily you still have many years left on your warranty. Please report back when you have a resolution...
Similar symptoms. Different issue. Different transmission. Different powertrain. Less than 0.1% of vehicles affected. Ford is taking care of it. All is right in the world. :)
