Not a senior yet but getting there as fast as I can (62). I used to have lots of toys, then I married a 35 yo toy and couldn't afford to keep the others any longer.
Ordered it on 9/20/22 and picked it up on 7/21.
I'm a bit more interested in the time machine that enabled him to pick his up over a year before he ordered. Could make a mint off that thing.
They do use bulk. But they can't charge me for something I do not receive. Guy said their system only allows charging in full units so he can't do just the 1/2 qt. Enough people demand the oil and I'm thinking they will change their system.
The Eco engine holds 5.5 quarts. When they told me the price of the change covered 5 quarts but they charge me for 6 due to the 1/2 quart, I told them I need the 1/2 quart that was left. They wouldn't give me the oil(was going to use it for chain lube on chainsaw) so took the extra quart off the...
I put a , per Bill of Lading, 900 pound skid of batteries in mine. Hauled it 30-35 miles at highway speeds(pushing 70) and it drove like a champ. Wasn't a long enough trip to tell if there was appreciable drop in mpg but thinking there probably was. A skid isn't as tall at that bale so didn't...
Good thinking on having an extinguisher in the vehicle. Don't forget to periodically(at least once a year) "fluff" the powder to ensure maximum amount is expended if/when needed. To do this just turn the extinguisher upside down and bump it on the bottom with the heel of your hand. You should be...
I use Firestone for my service and have them take a picture of the plate, with all screws in place, to ensure they are indeed put back in. The first couple of times I bothered to check myself before leaving the parking lot(didn't want them saying any vibrated loose on the way home).
Shout it loud MaverickEV, we need the break in housing prices. Californios are used to an average price of 500k for a 3 bed, 2 bath 1800 sq ft(or less) home. We are not. And Washington would be more environmentally conscious as it is a shorter drive.
I had a Suzuki 380(motorcycle) in high school that had a 3 cylinder engine. No idea what mpg was since gas was cheap(pre Carter) I pretty sure I remember being able to make it to school and work on a tank a week.
It's only a 3 hr drive up 49 from Bentonville. The scenery isn't too bad and the drive is better now that 49 through Bella Vista is complete...I'd have gone and picked it up in person if they'd let me.
