EONR24, Thank you so much! Worked like a champ on my '23 XLT Hybrid. The Minder is preserved and the Monitor is gone..
Also thank you for providing the code decipher. As a software engineer, I usually like to see these things to understand the changes before I go and make them. Bravo!
I was looking at this earlier today. The video states to change the letter B to the number 3, but instead of a B, mine had the number 8 so I chickened out and just left it alone. :(
If I forget to turn off my parking lights, my '23 XLT hybrid will chime to remind me of it when I open the driver's door. does yours not behave this way?
Are you sure that the files are tagged with this information (metadata)? I use MP3Tag, a Windows utility to add all that data to my MP3 files and then copy the files to a USB stick. Works great in my Maverick XLT; I can search by artist, album, genre, etc.
Thank you jphii, Silver23, & SLINGSHOT for your replies. This is the value we get from this forum: helpful knowledge and insight from others. So that's 1 less button press I need to do on each startup. Thanks!
Yes, it will eventually time out, but the reason that I press OK is because you have to get past that popup to be able to change the drive mode from Normal to ECO. So every time I start the truck, it's pressing the OK button to get rid of the seatbelt reminder, then 4 more presses to get into my...
I don't know what ford mycolor is, but I actually did this today. Once I enabled Ambient Light in the ACM module, I gained an "Ambient Light" button in the display settings. Pushing that button allows you to set the color and the intensity.
Today I looked further into the BdyCM module configurations in an effort to make the parking/turn signal lights function as the DRL. Below are the options and settings I found for my '23 XLT Hybrid:
DRL Conditions – Option A. Other choice: Option B
DRL by Autolamps – Initial Value Enabled...
There actually IS a fix for this, using Forscan. In another similar thread, look for an Oct 21, 2023 post from Don Keedick. It worked on my '23 XLT and I am forever grateful for his instructions.
I'm happy to report that My42waffles was on the right track. After deleting the existing saved vehicle and scanning the "new" vehicle TWICE, the IPMA module showed up in the list of modules. Thanks for your help.
I'm with you, brother. I could have gunked up my phone with all my music, but I prefer to use my thumb drive for music and use my phone as a phone. My choice, without Big Brother oversight and lawmaker mandates. Just in time, too, for my 3 hr drive this morning. Awesome! Thank you again.
OMG! It worked! You have provided the solution to the biggest complaint I've had with my Maverick since I bought it. You are my savior! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
