What do you need that for? Anyone attempting to steal fuel needs to get past the capless filler mechanism. You can't just stick a pipe in there and it drains out like you can on other manufacturers.
Take in to the dealer. Either a plastic cam broke or the arm skipped a tooth on the shaft. Either way, its probably going to need parts and the big question is "will it be covered by warranty?"
I assume that he is greatly exaggerating the actual visibility. The first thing to do with only 3m visibility is get those headlights off to stop reflected light from blinding you. Anything over 10km/h with only 3m visibility is just plain incompetent driving. Try it and see how long your...
Interesting. Where are the solids coming from? I was expecting a very small amount of thin oil residue and a fair amount of water, not a lot of heavier oil and an awful lot of solids. Are there solids in your oil when you change it? Are you using some kind of incompatible oil additive?
Buy an oldskool Maverick instead, and your problems are solved. Its has real buttons, actual door handles, a much smaller sunroof if you get one at all, real window frames, the speedo is in the correct place, it has a turn signal stalk and a gear selector (albeit not a traditional one). Best...
So another month with no progress. That looks like just under 700 more orders in the USOB than the last report. Hopefully Ford has some unseen mechanism for building the oldest ones first, given that there are actually people still waiting for their 2022 and 2023 rollovers...
Like every truck, the Mav has the aerodynamics of a brick. The drag increases at roughly the square of the speed, so driving at 75 takes a lot more fuel than driving at 60, or about 30% more.
Yup, the liquid tends to collect in the bead area, causing corrosion. That's why tire installers put a swab of liquid rubber goop on the bead to fill in any small leaks.
Don't use the Walmart fuel. Its cheaper for a reason - its not the top-tier fuel that is the minimum spec for your Mav. Circle K fuel on the other hand, is top tier.
Not true. They corrode only trivially, and are very easy to clean up again with a wire brush and a paint can. Aluminum on the other hand, is virtually always a writeoff. The cause is that the clorine in the salt liquid on the road eats aluminum way faster than iron. Try somehow cleaning up...
If its happening at all pumps, I would suspect a filler pipe kink causing a restriction. Otherwise, its pretty common for the gas station to do poor maintenance and not replace/fix their peened-over nozzles that also cause this problem.
Ok, I'm not impressed. Its got an aggressive mapping kit on it that is essentially a race-only setup created for European-only fuel. You're running higher boost at higher revs than factory, having to run high-test fuel to compensate for the abnormal advance and cam curves, running waay off the...
No you don't. There is no factory auto-dim mirror on any trim level. Since there is no option for this, there is no connector for it either.
I've had 5 vehicles with auto-dimming mirrors, and will never get one again. They just plain don't work unless the guy in behind has the intense blue...
Yeah, just drop it back to the 35 that the truck was built for. The tire guy was just setting the tire beads, after which he should let the overpressure back out. Either that or he thinks he knows better than the guys who designed the vehicle for some reason.
