The wait times have been silly. Never thought back in October I would be sitting here 10 months later with no truck. Still no end in sight. Have a August 29 build date, probably delayed, shipping will be delayed and will have to fight my dealership for price protection if it ever arrives.

He basically can’t find a Maverick for msrp and can’t afford a Ridgeline so settled for a Santa Cruz. I know he didn’t say that but it’s reality. Said he wants a hybrid but the buys a more expensive less fuel efficient Hyundai 🤷‍♂️

Went on ford chat yesterday and still 8/29. Haven’t been pushed back yet. I don’t get emails from ford. Tracker still shows order confirmed.

No excuse, he hit a non moving vehicle. He needs a little attitude. Could have been a child there instead of your brand new Maverick.

I got the gator sfx version of this one from Realtruck. The gator seems to be better quality and fit and was about the same price after MTC discount.

I had to put 1k deposit down. Some do some don’t. A deposit does make things slightly less likely to get screwed when order arrives. Been horror stories of salesman selling retail orders to other people. I would also straight up ask the sales manager to guarantee msrp in writing or find another...

I think the fuel economy is in line with most other SUVs. I can’t get past owning a Hyundai 🤢
