Not sure anyone NEEDS a hybrid. They have only been around for a few years. Better mpg is nice but not essential. I do NEED AWD so I donāt get killed on icy roads.
If you really need a vehicle then the Maverick is a bad move. It is in extreme demand, low production, parts and chip constraints, dealer markupās, terrible communication, wacked priority system, wacked allocation system, recall delays, shipping delays, DORAs, smart Vincent, price protection...
Should be 13 months when It arrives. Mind you this is a ecoboost. But have seen hundreds that got them in under 6 months with my same build so who really knows
Not sure why mine took so long. I ordered Oct. 16th and have seen tons of Mavericks built before mine, even hybridās. Guess I picked the wrong dealership but it was the closest to my house
Iāve been using this link https://new.unitedroadlogistics.com/Oviss/Screens/CustomerTracking/orders
My VIN shows up on there but says inactive. Not sure if it showed up at Newark rail yard yet. Customer service says November 5 to 11th.
Mine was shipped on October 8 as well heading to Newark. Probably on the same train. Iāll follow your posts since I have no tracking info. All I can check is that itās going to Newark through https://new.unitedroadlogistics.com/Oviss/Screens/CustomerTracking
If I had a spare F350 sitting around my property then yes, I agree a Corolla makes sense for commuting and running around stuff. Unfortunately I need a do all vehicle. Most Home Depot runs can be done with Maverick, my small boat will fit in the back, can tow 4K pound trailer and a almost 1500#...
Iāve been waiting 12 months for my ecoboost and still not here. If you want a stripped down truck in 6 months then go for it. Gas model can get you AWD, higher towing or FX4 packages. If you stress gas prices and live in the south then get a hybrid. You canāt order one till next year anyway
So if I didnāt lock in my rate at the time I ordered then I would not be eligible for those low rates? Iām confused, my salesman said Iām not rate protected but heās new and probably doesnāt know. Is there a official Ford memo I can bring with me at time of purchase? Normally I wouldnāt care...
