Like @MetalsGeek said…Ford’s accuracy with hole/nut placement is subject to variation…pictured are the hole dimensions in my truck…spacing (pitch) dimensions listed are accurate but in my truck’s case, the holes were not exactly all on the same line. Recommendation: if you’re gonna use L-track...
THIS^^^.. Ford, and many other OEMs, us these types of nut plates, clinch nut with extended sheetmetal tab as an assembly aid, used them for generations. They are not designed to have a wrench or socket placed on them. Eliminates need for a separate wrench to hold nut by factory assembly...
Clearly…PD focus shifted to BEV only model emphasis along with requisite development $’s. Hybrids (pure ICE too) demoted to not fitting in the BEV cadence coming from Ford Leadership and Government. Choke off program PD dollars and development really gets thrifted. A lot of test EJ-ing...
2024 MY de-content. This ^^, IMO, hurt most…I use it all the time in my other vehicles…Ford saved pennies vs. killing a popular feature….I’d take carpet delete over giving up the keypad. Boneheads out of touch with their customer base.
Put a Focus RS 2.3 powertrain (350/350) in a Maverick. AWD compatible.. Now that would be interesting…adding a 3rd pedal and proper cooling would be the challenge...
Highly successful and reliable Hybrid Ford Fusion came out of same plant as the Maverick...
Design related issues all incubate in Dearborn…home of Product Development PD and hamstrung by “the Finance group” Nazis
I’m seeing the same values on my Jan 2024 build. This thread got me curious as to what my truck is doing, battery SOC-wise.
I have hard wired a Fluke DVM to the battery terminal posts. I’ve walked up to truck, looked through the window after it sitting all night and see ~12.00vdc on the Fluke...
1st row seat?
1. Try a warranty claim. Call your selling dealer/salesperson even if 500 miles away.
2. Highly doubt you can source a swatch from Ford seating fabric supplier..you can buy a replacement seat back cover and have your upholstery guy re-trim the seat back. Not difficult to do...
Fully charged flooded lead acid or AGM battery is ~12.8vdc. Seems there’s not much charging going on. What is the charge voltage when you’re underway? I see the spikes near 15v, what are you doing with truck during those spike periods?
This^^^ in a regular size fits great. I didn’t need door covers as my Lab does not hang out of open windows...

I had weird things happen in our 2006 Escape HEV and 2015 CMax PHEV when the 12v battery went south (not really charging issue, just old batteries. Replacements fixed it). Sometimes wouldn’t let cars even move.
Have you rec’d or have access to copies of the referenced Campaign Number or associated .pdf’s? If so, can you post? I’ve tried to find these NHTSA docs, just now, that your post referenced on the NHTSA site with no success. Thanks
Just FYI, when you order A, X, or Z Plan ALWAYS ask dealer for a copy of the priced DORA document (this you may receive a day or two after order placement)…this documents what you’ll pay exactly for the vehicle itself on each plan. When orders took months to fulfill, any price increases Ford...
