Yeah. My first purchase was good, but the Maverick was not. They had us waiting around forever even though the appointment was scheduled weeks in advance. The trade-in for my Ranger wasn't great but also had been negotiated ahead of time. On the plus side, I drove that far because we got it at...
When I upgraded to a Lariat cluster, I somehow lost the intelligent AWD screen so I cant see which tires the power is going to anymore. But, my old 4" screen would indicate the rears kick in when turning a lower speeds. Then as you speed up, its just front wheel drive only. I need to enable this...
Nothing to worry about around here. I live in a lawless hellscape. I routinely see people with red headlights, missing license plates, smashed windshields, kids in truck beds, etc. Small town USA with a useless sheriff's office where, since every deputy knows every criminal, nothing gets done...
What a serendipitous post! Just earlier today, I was looking to buy something like this because to turn into my driveway, which is off a 55mph two-lane highway (so people are going 70+), you really need the person behind to see you.
I've had MANY encounters where to car behind me fails to see...
Does anyone know if S&B or retailers of S&B or K&N intakes typically have Black Friday sales?
Ideally, I'd like to get the S&B but didn't want to buy it then see it at a reduced price a few weeks later. Nobody likes that. So, just checking.
Yep, same thing on my 24 Maverick and 22 Ranger as well. That's how Ford programs the transmission. You see, if they force it to lug at very low RPM's, you might net .624 more of a MPG. Why? To save you gas which saves you money. Yay right? No! This will prematurely wear out the transmission...
Buddy of mine at work has a '23 XLT EB with 20k miles and his trans just blew while on the highway at 70mph. He says it's at the dealer getting a whole bunch of new stuff.
I'm going to have to buy an extended warranty for this thing. Mine does all kinds of crazy sh$t when its cold. It bucks and...
I'm wondering how my standard XLT model with AWD EcoBoost would handle this beach. Also curious to know if I enabled mud/ruts/sand modes if that would make any difference.
I am going to a beach next week for vacation (in Charleston) and if they have beaches that allow cars I'll try it out.
This is a much better idea than your hitch area filler, I'll give you that.
You know, we still need something to fill in the big gap behind the driver's side rear tire so dirt/mud/rocks don't fly up into the underside of the rear bumper.
I dont really have a need for ditch lights, but I just came here to say that nothing is cooler than overhead switches. From fighter jets to the space shuttle, overhead switches exist on some of the most badass stuff ever made! I like the ones you chose for this setup.
I'm interested to read the reviews from some of our members once they receive them. But in general I would pay a little bit more for the higher quality version. We'll just see what the reviews have to say.
One of the main reasons I stuck with having any sort of pickup was the hope that one day I could get a jet ski aka Waverunner if you are talking Yamahas. I stopped at this little camping site to take a break from cruising around. Also right after I took this pic I dropped my phone in the lake...
