  1. 2.0 EcoBoost? Change everything (oil / fluids)!

I would have been concerned about the trans fluid color too but I guess it's a Ford thing as of late. Have a look and listen from an experienced Ford mechanic.
  2. Knocking in the transmission at cruising speed

If you are running 85 octane fuel which I believe Utah has, try a higher octane grade. If that resolves it do not run 85 octane.
  3. Being Shipped - how long will that take?

Your tracker should have an estimated delivery time frame. If I were to guess I would say 6-8 weeks from when it ships.
  4. Possible bad alignment?

If you suspect a tire pulling to the left (or right) just rotate tires front to back and see if that changes anything.
  5. Engine Lugging / Vibration

Maybe a reset of the trans adaptive learning and some more miles might help. There is also aftermarket COBB tuning available that reportedly adjusts the shifts points that should help.
  6. Tailgate Lettering Choices - opinions?

Just to be different. It's subtle and tasteful with just the recessed lettering. No need for stick on decals.
  7. Updated 2025 Maverick w/ larger vertical screen spotted!

Personally I prefer the smaller horizontal display. I also see this test mule has a couple of pillar mounted pod gauges. Seems like if it was just cosmetic updates that wouldn't require any special data logging or monitoring of engine functions. hmm?
  8. Second thoughts towing

GVWR would be the fully loaded maximum towing weight of the trailer. What's the dry weight?
  9. Two year ownership review.

I believe the auto high beams deactivate below a certain speed. Perhaps this is why the high beams turn off when you enter your street?
  10. Loud Horn noise from my Audio System

F-150 truck owners have reported a similar issue. Maybe related? There is a TSB in that situation. https://www.autoblog.com/2023/08/24/ford-f150-lound-noises-crashing-sounds/#:~:text=Ford%20says%20its%20related%20to,or%20through%20a%20downloadable%20update.
  11. Trip to Keystone towing Mesa Ridge Travel Trailer: 2 states, 1,300 miles, 13.4 MPG

Sounds like a good time! If the squat bothers you, adding a weight distribution hitch should level the truck and trailer out. They aren't very expensive either.
  12. Speculation of a new Ford hybrid AWD drivetrain making it to Maverick

While I patiently wait for my 2024 eco Lariat order, I keep an eye on Ford news for upcoming changes that might affect my decision. The linked article below from fordauthority.com caught my eye from a couple of weeks ago that I didn't see mention of here. Seems as though Ford is releasing a...
