Can't if you want the FE. :cautious: I'm ready to switch and get one of the other Ford Unicorns, the MachE Premium and then sell my hybrid when it comes in and make an easy $10k. Yeah, right, I know.
I wish there was a way to put our order dates on a tracking tool but I guess with all the options it would be a mess. I do know for a fact that others with my same build, Hybrid FE RR, and an order date LATER than mine, have gotten a build date. I would say they are still using the dealership...
Don't expect much from it. They give the same run around about constraints, check with your dealer, yeah, yeah. They should put their customer service staff on the production floor and the product out the door so that no one needs to call them.
They are not building in the order they came in. There have been several on here with my exact build but a later order date and they have received their emails that they are in production.
Yeah, I do believe their email was just another pacifier to those of us who have been waiting the longest. No, they are not building in the order received since I have seen on this board that several people with my exact build have received their email this week and they ordered AFTER me. Good...
Boatman ordered in October so basically Ford lied when they said that orders would be built in the order they were ordered. There are still orders out there from before October for the FE.
That's right! I remember now when I was ordering, the salesman was trying to order it in the EB and was telling me that color wasn't an option and I had to correct them that I wanted the Hybrid. Seems like so long ago..... o wait, IT WAS! LOL
With the new priorities, we should be seeing more summer orders with constraints finally getting built over the fall ones with same constraint options which is what they should have done all along.
It may have already been said but First Edition Hybrid (prospective owners) probably won't get theirs, at least that's my take on it. Our packages included those constrained items so we are F'd, correct? Good job Ford on offering a package that is so rare it never gets built.
This feature has been around for about 5 years. You can't defeat it with out an aftermarket "hack". You can turn it off but the next time you start the enjoy, you will have to turn it off again. We installed the "hack" mention on this forum in our F-150 and it works like a charm.
