Thanks. I watched a great YouTube video the other day where a guy really did an incredible job treating his new Maverick with rust preventative... the most thorough job imaginable. It was one of the best instructional videos I've seen.
After seeing photos here on the forum showing how water...
Braderick said the Maverick frame rails would 100% not ever rust, jokingly referring to the fact that it's a unibody with no frame. You responded to that with a post about spraying rustrpoofing "inside the frame rails".
I figured the "woosh" meant Braderick's post went right over your head...
My Subaru Forester does it... a thrumming sound that goes right through your head. It's extremely annoying and prevents opening the rear windows unless one or both of the front windows are at least open a little bit.
I was wondering about the Ford 8-speed today... One of my most frequent destinations requires driving up over a small mountain and then down into the valley on the other side. In my '09 Subaru Forester with a four-speed auto, I descend most of the way in 3rd and then downshift to 2nd when I'm...
Bummer. I don't get it, though... half the music on my iPod Touch is downloaded from iTunes. The iPod plugged in directly wouldn't work, but music files from iTunes on a jump drive would? Can I even play my iPod music via Bluetooth? I had asked that previously and was told I could...

Replacing speakers is usually very cost-effective. They aren't too expensive and are usually fairly easy to replace. I went that route with my last couple of vehicles although I left the six-speaker system in my Forester as-is. I can live with it. I'll be interested to hear what the stock...
I used to worry about engine longevity but I grew up when 100K miles was a lot to have on an engine. My current reality is that in 13 years, I have put less than 80K miles on my Subaru Forester so, hopefully, I won't have to worry about the longevity of my EcoBoost.
I live in northern NY and...
Does this mean that even though an order was submitted in time and a confirmation e-mail was received from Ford, the order might not actually be accepted?
From what I've read, the hood rattle is easy to fix by adjusting the stops where the front of the hood sits. Adjust them out until the hood just latches closed.
Overlap is the sole reason I didn't add the FX4 package to my XLT w/4K tow option. If it had been priced to allow for the overlap I would have added FX4. It just seemed like I was going to pay for some of the same things twice.
So what about this? I took this optimistically (very) with the impression that only the vehicles they listed would be affected. They went to the effort to list six specific vehicles but the Maverick wasn't one of them...
He has a lot of info but I can't handle the typical "YouTube-style" voice inflection where the creator is compelled to add pauses between the last few words... of... each... few... sentences. All that's needed is a heavy dose of "that being said"s to make for a perfectly horrible YouTube...
I bought one of those Amazon Basic CD players to put all my CD music into digital form. It was a time-consuming but worthwhile project. It's much easier to use an iPod (or your phone) in the Maverick and much better access and convenience in dealing with all your music.
