I think that's all pretty obvious and none of it seems relevant to my question.
So, if someone's order position at Granger is "definitely not" moot, exactly what influence does it have on Ford's production scheduling if they're building them by date/time orders were received overall?
If Ford...
I was under the impression that Ford is now filling the orders in the order they were received, vs. by dealer allocation. Wouldn't that mean that your order position at Granger is moot?
I have this Alinco sitting on the passenger seat of my Subaru Forester. I plan on having an installer put it in my Maverick (if it ever gets built). Too bad the head unit wouldn't fit in that dash cubby...
Cool 'Guzzi!
I saw a Moto Guzzi from my birth year at the motorcycle museum I visited last week, a 1961 125cc single. It was in a spot where I couldn't get a good photo of it...
A guy in my town that was a motorcycling inspiration to me when I was a kid had a beautiful 1970-something...
In 1995, I bought a new Ducati 900SS SP over the phone, in another state, without having ever seen one in person...
And, many years later, I bought this new 2009 Subaru Forester after hours of research and only seeing them on the road; no test drive or dealer visit...
They both ended up...
Dude, you're a tech wizard to me... I don't own a mobile phone! I have one telephone in my house:
I also have Radio Shack speakers! (I have a nice pair of Advents on the "A" channel but my 40-year-old Radio Shacks are on "B")
🤓
(I do have WiFi in the house, though...)
A friend of mine did pretty much the same thing to get a new Honda Ridgeline. He hit the phones heavy and often and finally had a dealer call him for one at an honest price in a neighboring state within a month or two.
I ordered my XLT without any liner. I'm kind of up in the air about bed liners.
My first truck, a new Toyota in 1985, didn't have a bed liner. No problem with rust. (I live in northern NY where the roads are salted heavily in the winter.)
I traded it for a Chevy 2500 4x4 n '88, also with...
I bought my very first brand new vehicle in 1985: a Toyota 2WD pickup. I was pretty proud of it and thought I was driving a real truck. And then I came out of a store in rural MD and there were big, lifted 4x4 American pickups parked on each side of it in the parking lot.
My new "truck" now...
Everyone seems to be getting that message... there's a separate thread on it. I hope everyone doesn't start posting "me too" messages so our e-mail boxes get filled up with notifications from Mavericktruckclub.com... ;)
I'm looking at the Truxedo roll-up cover and was curious about it being able to handle snow. Sometimes, we'll get a foot or two at a time here in the Adirondacks...
