No reason why it wouldn't, humidity is humidity. I cannot recall if the manual mentions the threshold for it, but my guess would be that it be 60% or higher (40-60% is considered idea humidity FYl).

It's not, my 22 does this as well. It turns on based on ambient temperature and humidity. If you live in an area with low humidity it might not happen to you.

Using sports mode or tow mode by any chance? Those modes have simulated fake shifting sensations. If you are feeling shifts in other modes, you've got a problem.
