  1. AGM for Hybrid

So messing with forscan is not necessary when switching from the stock battery to an AGM? All you need to do is reset the BMS and you’re good to go?
  2. 2024 Maverick Lariat vs Maverick XLT

Meh. I’ll take my $26760 out-the-door XLT Hybrid. Just added the Ford Perimeter plus alarm for the remote start function. Using FordPass points it only cost me $50. No heated steering wheel or seats needed with remote start. All those little extra added features might be nice but I’m cheap and...
  3. Still Waiting :(

My shipping to southeast Michigan a year ago took 20 days.
  4. Review: Mabett hitch filler panel

Ford does not sell it precut. You have to cut the panel yourself. https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-bumper-cover-spacer-panel-nz6z17f000ab This place will let you use your FordPass points to purchase...
  5. Ford delays new EV pickup to 2027

Read slowly what I quoted from your post. Stating your intelligence and, at the same time, making a grammatically wrong statement, is comical at the least.
  6. Review: Mabett hitch filler panel

It’s called blissful ignorance. I love my Maverick and have not had any problems to date. I have to check in on the forum every once in awhile to be reminded of all the many ā€˜flaws’ and problems that exist.
  7. Is anyone else here really into detailing/cleaning their truck?

Into detailing? Not at all. That’s why I got Cactus Gray. One of the least labor intensive colors that looks clean even when it isnā€˜t. I keep mine looking decent but not obsessed with it. Those that opt for black or any other dark color, and it is always kept looking nice, have my respect. By...
  8. Relocated the horns to the area behind the bumper on the passangers side…

It amazes me how much effort some will put into modifying a very seldom used item.
  9. Moonroof on the 2025 XL?

AC, power windows, power mirrors, decent stereo and cruise control are really the only necessities for me. Spending another 60% on top of the $25K I paid just for all those extra doodads was never a consideration. That $15K will serve me better elsewhere.
  10. OK, I did it.

Considering the Lariat has everything you can hang on it, I don’t think your Maverick is lacking anything with ā€œonlyā€ 2 options. :)
  11. Review: Mabett hitch filler panel

    Not $17 better. Yup.
  12. Review: Mabett hitch filler panel

If they don’t care about aesthetic, why even bother putting on the cheap one-size-fits-all with its less-than-precise cutouts? It doesn’t look any better than no panel to me. If one cares about the looks of the hitch area, the custom trimmed Ford panel is the only way to go.
