Did this issue just crop up or has it been a problem for the year and a half you’ve owned your Maverick? In my 45 years of driving, I’ve never “slid“ my foot from one pedal to the other. That might be your problem.

If the Lariat DRLs work like the poverty-edition Mavericks, the truck has to be in “Drive” for them to come on. They aren’t on with just the truck running. Just a thought.

Hybrid doesn't use the 12V battery to start the engine. It uses the high voltage battery. Any power pack will work to give it the 12v.

My time involves looking when I happen to be at a store that has Hot Wheels. The knick-knack isn't that important to me and is certainly not worth $10. If I never find one, my life will go on just the same.

If you’re comfortable paying $8-$10 for a $1.20 “knick-knack” that’s all that counts. For me, it’s the thrill of the hunt. When I find the elusive “kill” for a bit more than a dollar, it’ll be all that much sweeter.

The locks are right above the door release handle. You can tell if they’re locked just by looking at them.

I had a ‘93 Explorer that I put a 4” suspension lift and 33” tires. Did some light off-roading while deer hunting. Then I had a “95 F150 super cab that I also put a 4” suspension lift on. In 2000 I had a regular cab F150 that I leveled the rear. Now I’m old and I think the Maverick is perfect...

I got mine during Prime Days on sale for $112 so core charge didn’t even factor in since it was so inexpensive. My local Auto Zone will take my old battery and give a store gift card for it.

I put the same one in my hybrid. Fits perfectly.

Other than the color/material of the seats and the color of some of the plastic trim pieces, the interiors are the same across the different trims. If having a Lariat makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, enjoy your $39k+(being in Canada that’s a big +) ride. I’m more than satisfied with...
