There are a lot of factors that would play into this... Generally, I would say no, but...
If you are in a largely rural area, can stay on uncrowded secondary roads, and keep your speeds WAY down, I might make it a one time thing. But if you need to stop quickly for any reason, you won't. All...
Many of the newer Fords are moving nav (guidance) to subscription based. On a new purchase, you usually get 2-3 years included, then after that, if you want route guidance, there is a subscription price. I don't know what program the '24 Mav was on, but most of the new 25/26 models are...
Not a boat, but a compact tractor/loader on a flatbed...pending the extra equipment I bring, I've been close to 5k on occasion. Probably less wind restriction than a boat, I would imagine. Truck handles it fine. I also generally run the speed limit, or slightly under, when towing, and my trips...
Probably unrelated, but for "what it's worth", I tried to upgrade my '22 APIM to the first OEM NAV APIM application ('24?), I worked with a reputable vendor, tried 2 units, could never get the nav to work, both units also showed my current location as incorrect. It seems some trucks are just...
It's a financial gamble you lose about 80+% of the time. However, if worrying about out of warranty repair costs keep you up at night, it may be worth your peace of mind.
It's important to understand the difference.
None of that matters. If the HVAC is ON, regardless of any setting, the AC *may* cycle on & off automatically, based on in-cab humidity levels. There is no over-ride, no fix....other than shutting the HVAC OFF.
This right here. Make sure it's a quality microfiber, like 3M, not a Dollar General cheapie. I like a weak solution of Simple Green as a topical cleaner. Buy it in concentrate, and custom mix your own, pending your task.
Most likely tested on 87 octane gas. For the EB, type of gas matters. If you want peak acceleration, you need minimum 91 octane gas.
Performance between the EB & hybrid are pretty similar when both are running 87. But the EB comes to life on 91+. And factor in most journalists suck at...
That's correct, if the HVAC is completely off, it stays off. We're talking about HVAC being on, but not AC. AC will cycle on & off automatically, pending cab level humidity, regardless of the setting, IF the HVAC is ON.
It's not temperature dependent, it's based on humidity levels in the cab. I don't know the data point trigger, probably something in the 60% range. All Maverick HVAC's have functioned this way since day 1 with the '22 model.
Check out Jaco, good stuff.
Ford TPMS are notoriously inaccurate. Both my Maverick & Bronco read 5 psi low. Do not rely on the TPMS readings for actual tire pressure settings, use a quality gauge.
Correct, the '25/26 EB's are packaged completely different. The breather may be different too, on the pre-'25's, it's right on top of the transmission, not a tube, just a rubber vent, and once removed, ATF is refilled here.
If you are doing a D&R, measure how much ATF comes out, and put that...
