And the magic question are towing with a trailer that has electronic brakes on it? They all have brake controllers for regenerative braking. They also serve as a trailer braking system when you have the 4 and/or 8 pin trailer hitch connector. I'll circle back to the battery usage later but on...
Someone needs to state the obvious, first and foremost it will only activate if you have a trailer with electric brakes on it. It activates when you hit the brake pedal period. The 2 issues you will have with continuous towing with a hybrid is working that hybrid battery harder than it otherwise...
Couple of things to add to disengaging the eps manually.
I didn't have one but a brake cube tool would probably work here also either on the shaft or without disassembly of the caliper, you still should remove the parking break sensor either way.
After reassembly and before driving, I'd...
A bit late to the party but I ran into the same issue. You can disengage the parking brake manually without any electric tools in the following manner.
1. unplug the parking brake sensor.
2. remove the 2 hex bolts on the back of the parking brake cover.
3. pry off the parking brake cover
4...
The codes reset on a reprogram since the vehicle and key need to start a new sequence of codes. I haven't done it myself but you should be able to reprogram them yourself using the ignition method.
Far as I know it is not an actual reprogram but resetting of the immobilizer system that this...
Not entirely true. They work identically the difference is in the drive modes offered for the builds sans the Tremor. If you take an XL or XLT w/ FX4 for example and enable all the drive modes for each the AWD will perform identically for each in the same drive mode under the same conditions.
2 possbilities
1st the benign option. You somehow pressed the keys on the fob too many times out of range and desynched the sequence counter for the rolling codes or a battery died which would cause the same problem. Key far as I know shouldn't just magically work again without reprogramming...
Well no something that rhymes with mitt. The hybrid on the highway doesn't really make much if any use of the electric mode. Hybrids works best in city conditions or heavy traffic where you it makes better use of the electric mode.
A little secret you learn on the streets to get better gas...

Model E EV division lost $4.8 billion
I seriously doubt an EV truck is on the horizon with the current political landscape.
I usually do them at 5k intervals except for the time I trailered a mini excavator 800 miles. Truck was making some funny noises and the slight valve pinging after the trip. One oil change later and no more noises and valve pinging. I think I was about 3 or 4k already in from the previous change...
Lastly for a true hands free experience you'll need a replacement digital assistant for google. Dicio Assistant is a good offline replacement that is freeware. You have other options like chatgpt for example.
2 important steps I left out.
Once Android Auto is installed and updated you may need to get into the developer settings. You can either use android auto - xlauncher unlocked which gets installed with AA4MG or enable them through Android Auto itself.
To enable developer mode for Android Auto...
A good rule of thumb for weight distributing hitches is the following, if the GTW (gross trailer weight) is 50% or more of your total GCWR (gross combined weight rating) then you might need a weight distribution hitch.
If not when you hook up the trailer if the tongue weight is too much on the...
He could have had a jammer too. They aren't overly expensive for low power ones. If I was a repo guy I'd definitely carry a wide band jammer and stick it in or on the vehicle before I repo'd it.
