For me the hybrid wasn't even on my radar. I wanted all wheel drive and I needed 4k. Aside from that hybrids can be really expensive to repair when it comes to the ecvt and batteries. As far as performance goes you're stuck with whatever you get when you buy the truck.

I think the fx4 has different shock absorbers for offroad duty. They also had more drive modes but we can add those now. I'm not really sure how gearing helps double the capacity but I know the cooling will help the transmission last longer.
