i know, its the spelling that made me chuckle. like I figure everyone on here knows what they mean when they also mention the Ranger and Bronco, but the "Maverik"... just didnt double check their posting to make sure it was right...haha. And you already purchased and determined they in fact do...
I think on MTC there has been a couple people/posts that mentioned something with the seats "collapsing". which is getting worrisome that its a design flaw and going to be a big issue.
Only way to know is unfortunately more rear-ended maverick with similar results... I also dont know how they...
I had mine checked out a couple months ago because I got a couple "battery saving mode" messages popped up randomly on the app (so I had them check when I had an oil change). Took it to my dealership and they gave me the unfortunate "just need to drive it for longer distances so it will charge...
My money is on no. but they will happily replace them within the 3/36k.... and only if your dealership is a good one...that will claim/say they are bad and needing replacement.
Found it. So it turns out overall I was a little bit slower. Take time driving with distance I drove, like 52mph average, but I had to slow down for some small towns to drive through. But otherwise here is the 37mpg proof :)
mainly because i havent had any issues with these blades for over a year now and know at some point soon I would need to replace them and i have 0 issues with them. I could start using the cheapest blades I can again, but it would be nice to keep getting these blades again because i have 0...
I guess both. In general I wasnt aware motorcraft made wipers, so that is news to me if thats what the stock blades would have been from the assembly line. but if anyone happens to know more detail who makes them possibly for motorcraft, that wont hurt either. because I assumed too that it most...
back country roads at 55-60 i have gotten my FX4 up to 37mpg...and it wasnt just one of those i reset the counter going downhill and "goosed" the numbers. If I can find my photo I took, I think it was a almost 60mile stretch doing 55-60 (no rush to get where I needed to go in northern WI). Just...
I understand. Almost all blade manufacturers have ones that will work for the Mav... I am just more of a these are working perfectly fine, ill just replace them with what they are. (unless I start having actual issues with them will I then try new/other blades.)
I am not a repair tech or insurance adjuster, but in general it looks fixable. Like some others have said, I bet it will be costly, but fixable. But at the same time insurance could just say "screw it"... and that's that. One of those "repair it will cost 20k, and vehicle worth 22k... here is...
All,
I am just wondering if anyone knows who actually makes the OEM wiper blades for the Maverick. I am not here to start debates on who makes the best blades or the stock ones are crap....or anything like that.... but all I will say is that I have 0 complaints about them.
So I wanted to...
same thing that I noticed right away. my eye was drawn right to that. And if that is the "good side" of the photo, I hope the other sides are not worse...
@A.Bursell and @jimcebula , with the exception of Forscan for the hyperflashing, all you did was just swap out the stock for the DD bulbs and that was it? no resistors or anything like that?
and if so... how long have you been using them...and you have not had any issues I have experienced...
Thank you so much for that info!. So if you develop and run tests with your own Maverick, are you currently running stock bulbs as well or do you have LEDs in that work? It seems like you would be a good person to ask about what bulbs may work or do work based on your testing. But with your...
All,
If you haven't read any of my posts on here before I have a 23 Lariat EB which I have tried to the best of my ability to troubleshoot and used different LEDs as well to get them to work. With the exception of going extreme high end price or using resistors.. I would like to know have any...
How many miles do you have on the truck? That might still be covered with the 3yr 36k (dont quote me on that). But if you have less than that, its worth a shot to ask. If the body of the truck had paint peeling it would be covered...worth a shot to see if its also peeling on rims that it would...
Yeah, Sorry to hear that this happened to you. I am hoping that you just had some bad luck unfortunately. Like a couple who have posted to your post on here already... (also if you do a quick search on this site) there are a handful of members who have towed well beyond the 4k threshold for some...
does anyone know if they can adjust the recall numbers/vehicles affected on the fly? When the news was posted on MTC (when the first recall info came out about the wiper motor recall), I checked the Ford website and the NHTSA site and my vehicle was one of the ones with the recall.
I just...
