Thanks for your info on this. Up until this last recall, my Lariat would randomly have the assembly turn off. And I was able to temporarily fix it by switching the lights off and on, but that was an inconvenience to do so, and for the fact I wasn't always aware that the light went out. Then the...
UPDATE 2: ...Final update (for the foreseeable future)...
I just swapped the bulbs around thinking somehow the polarity or whatever was off. Then went into Forscan and changed all the settings to stock...tested...then changed them back...tested... then changed some on and some off in different...
Thanks for that info. I will keep that in mind when I am going to mess around with Forscan and the different LED bulbs in a couple hours, but I will keep an eye out on that. More than likely tho I will be putting in stock bulbs... if thats what stops any issues from happening*
UPDATE 1:
Well I swapped out the Morimoto LEDS and the Lasfit last night and used the lock/unlock to test to make sure they were installed the right way while I had the assembly open (IE flashed and turned on). of which they did. I then decided to hit the HAZARD button on the dash to get them...
I know this isnt as useful, but I used my fordpass points from the Mav purchase and I bought the FordAccessories one. It came with the obd cable and everything. So all you had to do was run the wires where you wanted the front and rear camera to go, and plug it in. The parking mode and...
Glad you have no issues with the stock bulbs (y) ... but I slightly disagree with the more light output doesn't equate to good lighting or safety. On the safety part at least, the instant on of the LEDs, will attract your attention sooner (more so at faster speeds) and thus make your vehicle...
I too would say give it a couple tank fill ups and everything should work its way to normal. Unless somehow someway you are the worlds most unlucky Maverick owner who has a bad engine or something like that (not saying it cant happen, just very very unlikely) even Maverick owners who tow...
I dont remember, I believe I did but I will go back and check later after work. I know I left the front settings enabled because the rears were the ones acting up and I didnt see why the truck would "deactivate" the rear light due to the front signal. But I will go back and check/change any that...
I am aware of the Forscan to stop hyperflashing, but what bulb did you get. Just searching local auto parts stores, dont seem to have the 4257. Unless you used a different bulb?...or where did you find them from? (link if possible) thanks
Thanks for your input on that. So you are another voice I have heard about going back to stock and issues go away... but I just am being stubborn about going back to stock without a fight...haha. So one more LED bulb to try and if not, back to stock I go! (y)
Hey everyone, Just this past week I got all my recalls (and an oil change) done at my dealership with the hopes that my tail light not illuminating issue would be solved. Since I drove it from the dealership home and once this weekend, I have noticed that the drivers side started acting up...
My $0.02 would be a 3,000# camper with gear/people pushing the 4k mark should be fine if you went with the EB and 4k Tow. Like a couple others have posted, the 4k value should be under what the "failure" or "breaking point" would be for the vehicle and can actually tow more, but Ford wont tell...
I dont think the camper is too big. Most of you on here all doubting Ford engineers and what the Mav is really capable of.... I say put some straps on the trailer hitch and hook it up to that white vehicle in the front of this photo. Our Mavs could pull all of that easy! . But in all...
So I haven't had time to read through 15pages of comments on here, but I just had a few movements here to take a closer look at the photos. I am unsure if it has been mentioned yet on here or not, but it appears the 360 camera is only on the Lariat, along with the antenna-less style antenna? it...
If possible could you take a photo of it?
I plan on getting a small camper very soon for the summer and would love to keep an eye out for that but currently only sort of have an idea what you are speaking about.
NOTE: I am unsure how much your trailer weighs or how much weight you were...
besides maybe the cost if there was a big difference? lets say 10k?... only offered on Lariat when you could only afford XL...maybe XLT...type of deal? I get what you mean tho...if close in price and can do the same things, and one gets 10mpg better...why not get hybrid awd then.
For those who may not be sure, I was referencing these 2 photos. One is maverick with just tow hitch and the 4 pin connector. the second photo (from above) should have the 4k tow package where you can see 2 different plugs...
Also, am I seeing the 4k towing wiring? The 4pin/round 7pin connectors. I do not believe the round 7pin was on anything other than the 4k tow package. Would that hint to the AWD being able to tow 4k? I ask because I have the 4k on my ecoboost and it has the split wire plug in for the 4/7 pin and...
I kind of like the different grill looks, almost like they are trying to pull in the few and far cruz drivers with the fancier stylings...but that bumper does show where the FX4/Tremor tow hooks will be going compared to the other bumpers. The headlight/headlight redesign I am still iffy about...
