Why would they kill the inverter as an XL standalone option? Would it be possible to buy the inverter from Ford and install myself?

It shows Terrain available for the XL. I'm not seeing Hot Pepper Red as an option, though.

Dammit! The one option I wanted was the 400W inverter. Now I can't get that, AND I can't get my XL in Carbonized Gray. My 23 better get scheduled...

He talks about it here: (link goes straight to it) Carbonized Gray and Iconic Silver are fleet only on XL's. There's only a handful of XL color choices now :(

The color is for fleet orders only in 24, according to Tim Bartz and others. :(

I'm still hoping for my 23 to schedule. I don't want to miss out on Carbonized Gray. I don't know what color I'd go with for 24...

If it was an XL and a rollover reorder for 23, the sunroof was not available to be put on the order. I was planning on ordering one myself and was sad to learn I could not when the 23 order banks opened.

What color is "terrain?" Why are they so afraid of offering some colors. So much gray/silver...

WC Ford just called to offer me a silver XL hybrid that someone passed on. I said no because I'm still holding out hope for mine so one of you might get a call next :)

It looks like you can actually order the hybrid batteries from a dealer, and they seem to be available. Could Ford just build my XL without the batteries and send it to me? I'm pretty resourceful.

Not necessarily. If the COVP was bad, Ford didn't cancel the order but just switched the priority code to 99. Ask Ford chat what your priority code is now. It can still be "unscheduled/clean" at priority 99.
